No shit? I honestly never thought of this before. Just rides metal on metal? No issue doing this?

2025 600cc class shootout
Kind of! Re valve is my guess. But I did mange to find a set of "light duty" springs that are in the sled now. Put 160 miles on them and the wife still has like 1/4" sag. ... But it may take a few more miles to form a honest review. 3704-727

2025 600cc class shootout
POSH! Maybe its the same foam? I have heard it is not the same. Either way, i will be changing the seat somehow. ITS a complete POS. My only major complaint with this sled. Well the clutching being spot on also Ill figure out something. You never gave any thoughts to my boat seat idea? The heated seat i added myself

2025 600cc class shootout
Good idea. Wont work though as I have heated seat. Maybe just take the POS seat off... ride without? Maybe nice boat cushion or a boat seat glues to the top of the tunnel. Match cats engineering! That's probably best option.. Ill have to find a nice used one on spacebook or fleabay

2025 600cc class shootout
How about a seat replacement(2025 foam) for the seat that's like sitting on a high school bleacher in 10 degrees? Last ride the wife says "yea this seat sucks!" We rode whooped out dog shit for 80 miles. Said she got pounded?

New Record Set for ArcticInsider’s Longest Comment
Over the years before we had a cabin we always found ways to spend less. We used hot doggers, we packed sandwiches/food/snacks and drinks for trail side. We brought a pizza oven or grill for at the motel. Now we always eat at the cabin for dinners. We have a lunch or breakfast out riding. Very seldom drink alcohol while riding. We save money and do our dinners/drinks after 4 pm when the sleds are shut down for the night. Yes it gets pricey if your eating all meals out and drinking at water holes for sure. I suppose if you add the cabin payments and insurance etc then its about the same but to me having to pay for trailering, lodging and food/drinks that's a bunch.. All relevant as some people spend thousand on Caribbean vacations, etc.. My biggest issue thats getting worse is the amount of sleds that are packed into very small riding areas. The traffic is crazy and getting worse by the year. Just not enough real-estate with snow anymore.

What We Know and Don’t Know About Arctic Cat
For sure. Just a matter of getting to the logging roads legally. If your trailering to them thats another story. Still is not alot of snow in northern WI either way

Climate Change - Midwest warming fastest in lower 48
I don't know for sure but this was more about ice heaves then THIN ice. Guessing.. Hey guys lets go drive right along a ice heave and see what happens? Or better yet lets go over by that bridge/outlet creek and see what happens. Usually its just plain stupidity to fall threw the ice on a lake. Typically riding where you should not be more then THIN ICE

Agree 100%- Textron to cut more jobs
Happy wife happy life.- Textron to cut more jobs
I’ll join you on the bright side! Can it get worse than Textron? I suppose it could if it goes away for ever. It’s going to take a company that’s diversified with deep pockets that has passion for snowmobiling/ powersports. I might just buy another winder or 9000 in about 3 months and call it good for my lifetime. 2 winders and a 600 cattle ass. 2 Big boost and a little ripper. I can live with that.- Textron to cut more jobs
I don’t know the speedie guy shows up at my place all winter with bright green country cat stickers on boxes laying all over the place! I’ll do my part to keep them going! I suppose once the parts run dry I won’t see the speedie guy.- Textron to cut more jobs
I see the same. Most riders I see on lunch stops are 45-70 years old. Majority over 50. Cost has gone from expensive to insanely stupid for something you might only use for 3 months on a good year. Or never at all if you don’t own property way north.- Textron to cut more jobs
If you’re half correct it’s disgraceful. If you’re fully correct which I believe it’s almost negligent. I also see this sport on the way out in general. Not tomorrow or in 4 years but eventually it won’t exist. The last “Two” standing will fall back on dirt side, bikes, marine, etc. we had a great start here but it’s going to shit quickly. Warm and rain coming. Snow first then melt down yet again.- Textron to cut more jobs
Can imagine paying 16-18K on a new sled that you have to bend a bracket to make the power valves work properly? This is all I need to know about a sled that was long awaited and was really the only hope to bring back any PRIDE!! Disgusting. I feel bad for every 858 owner with issues. As they ain’t getting shit for factory support. This alone may kill this brand for good. I actually really like the 600 motor and how it runs so far. The clutching can be improved with a helix and spring. Maybe a sticky belt and slightly more weight. Yea I agree. I was just over by shock doc and we talked about this. After this season when I refresh them we’re going to see. He can’t find any specs on the shocks right now/ based on numbers on shock. Thanks textron.- Textron to cut more jobs
Good post here. Decent bourbon also.- Textron to cut more jobs
being ignored in the conversation is the front track shock spring I’m not running the stock garbage two spring set with a spacer that ruins your shock body by rubbing on it. Running the stingray front shock spring. Had this spring in every sled since 2017. They work for me and how I run VERY light shock tension fronts and center. It’s the geometry of the rear skid in the RXC or the shocks/valving- Textron to cut more jobs
they do not work. I received them today. No go. The long end is to short for the rxc- Textron to cut more jobs
