I think what the poster is saying is with all these issues needing attention, that focus may be taken off of terror threats and a successful attempt could happen.
See that funny looking squiggly mark at the end of those words, it’s a question mark which means I’m asking a question, not making a statement. It is in reference to whether citizens stay and fight for their homeland, or turn tail and desert their homeland.
There’s lots of people criticizing our military pullout. I have a question, how many afgan’s deprived of their human rights equals the death or dismemberment of one US soldier? One, ten, hundreds, thousand(s)???
Give us your number.
That doesn’t sound safe. The taliban FAA should investigate that.
It’s interesting to me that a man would knowingly risk his life clinging to the outside of an airplane, but won’t risk his life picking up a rifle and attack the taliban???
Man there’s a lot of Afghans at that airport. Why not give them a rifle and a backpack full of ammo, turn them around and point them towards the taliban and say fight for your country.

Taliban will sell to the highest bidder. Russia is broke…China, maybe, but they will want strong say so. Look at post Vietnam relationship between Vietnam and China, not good. The US will buy the Taliban very discreetly and without our military presence.
You can sit in your armchair and politicize this all you want over your hot cup of coffee. I for one don’t want to see a single more US soldier come back in a body bag, dismembered or PTSDed. Get out now.
