Sounds like conspiracy to me with the oil prices, vague notions that support you already held beliefs like "military power and $$$ and regulations" aren't exactly sound economics.

So what are the mechanics of it then? How are politicians somehow manipulating the market? The strategic oil reserve is a drop in the bucket and only gets used when things are really out of hand, other than that what are they actually doing that outweighs major global economic forces?

When it's a Dem in office it's economic cycles, when it's a Repub they're doing a good job! It's more complicated than that, but I have to admit I have the same biased thinking in reverse sometimes. The economics of gas prices and interest rates aren't controlled by politicians man.

I actually got a different job a few years ago. Now I work at a local shop repairing/maintaining trailers and installing trailer hitches on cars, plus we do snow plow and salt spreader installs and maintenance in the winter. It's owned by a local guy and his son does work there too so it's still a family business though.

Of course it's a fact of war, but it's an unfortunate one we probably shouldn't get excited about.

Growing wasn't legalized with recreational sales but I feel like there's been a boom on home growing anyway, I have a couple friends who grow with no real worry about legal repercussions. The one dude puts all kinds of plants out on his patio and roof in the summer and no one says anything.

Pizza Hut's doing $1.7 billion revenue and recently reported 8% operating profit growth, they could afford to pay people and charge the same thing for pizzas if they wanted. The whole $50 pizza thing is a myth created to protect their bottom line.

I was going to one here in Jersey a while back, the quality was definitely better than my black market source but the price was a little higher too. Haven't actually smoked in a couple months, giong on a total sobriety kick right now. I'll probably pick up the flower again at some point though.

Yeah I've never understood how people get high off 5-20mg doses, takes me like 200mg to get anything out of it too. Damn, I don't think you could even get something like that here in Jersey. Gotta go to a full on dispensary to get anything with THC in it.
