  1. Took far to long to bring to market a sled to compete with Doo and Poo. After reading comments here and other sites this sled was far from hitting it out of the park. This is what Cat needed. They had a chance here to take customer input and were not interested. Yup, that will keep you in business. #1 talked about sled for 18 months, remind me again how many units were sold
  2. If this is the case, it likely explains part of the reason Cat is struggling to survive. If you don't listen to your customer, and clearly Cat has not for the last 5 years easily, then it's a downward spiral. In my opinion.
  3. Talked to my dealer about an XCR 9r. Before I asked him for my price i needed to know what my 22 XCR was worth on a trade. Market is flooded with leftovers and used sleds. Said he wasn't taking trades but would take mine due to my purchasing history. He gave me his best price, I fell out of my chair. Don't even bother giving me a price on the 25. The industry is again in trouble.
  4. Sales don't count. Ask the 3 Cat no minds to provide their explanation, again
  5. Guess Poo will have to develop a sled with a helicopter guard, could be an option on the 26's.
  6. The 858 coming out the door is already behind the 850 Doo Turbo and Poo 850 Turbo and 900r. Cat is already starting from behind the 8 ball. Also consider that Doo and Poo are already developing replacements. This is going to be a tough haul for Cat in my opinion.
  7. But hey, according to someone they sold out almost day 1. That must mean something. LMAO
  8. They tested that all winter and apparently it worked, it deflected an entire dog team and the operator kept going. Wonder if they'll create a version for northern Canada where we have run ins with polar bears and wolves. Priced out this model. MSRP $ 27,130 without freight and PDI, thankfully my dealer doesn't charge PDI or MSRP. Plus HST 13%. Still not enough for me to deal unless they give me $ 18k for my 22. Wonder if the 25's come with the exploding gas tanks, maybe that's an option now
  9. Beat me to it. I was going to add that this was achieved thru extensive testing this past winter
  10. On the bright side, if there is a bright side, ice will go early this year and boating gets going sooner
  11. Just checked the long range forecast for South Central Ontario. No cold and no snow. 325 miles, pitiful. On a good note the sled did not blow up
  12. I recall a time on my Indy 650, rode for 3 hours non stop on relatively smooth trails, had lunch, came out for the trip home, ran for a half hour, stopped and asked my buddies jokingly if they could ride back and get the truck. The old stuff was great for the time but I don't miss them now.
  13. There's women, they just don't have teeth. Like the men, ask AH440
  14. Maybe they could throw some dogs out on the track to slow those Poo's down
  15. Interesting. Esso (corporate) told me early last year they had stopped making non ethanol gas as per the government. I must of spoken with someone that had no clue. I'm in the Fenelon Falls, Ontario area. Looks like this would only be available in Northern Ontario. Way to far for me to go. I'm more concerned about the ethanol for my outboard than I am for the sled.
  16. None around me. After Ultramar stopped making it I went to Shell who then stopped, then on to Esso and they stopped. Can you tell me which company and what town you find this at.
  17. That fully explains many of your moronic posts. That coupled with the washer fluid consumption. Wonder how much help you will get with all the friends you have made here
  18. In Ontario there is no longer non ethanol fuel. Until then that is all I used in my toys and yard equipment. In any case I would never burn less than 91 anyways. So from an ethanol perspective it is not even a decision anymore.
  19. Doesn't matter, the Cat is built for the average rider where 99% ride as is. Not everyone wants to exceed 50 mph
  20. I don't have any issue with charges brought forward. Unlike the washer fluid guzzling fucking moron that you are I waited for the final results of the investigation. Charges by the way do not mean conviction. Now like normal folks I will await the verdict unless Poo pleads guilty. The fact that you continue to stalk us normal folks on this site regarding this story sure raises questions about your mental capacity. Ownage WTF is that
  21. Interesting that these fellows didn't rate the Cat as You Know Who does. Guess having more than 6 miles on a unit gives you a better picture.
  22. There's a fella on here who swears by the Catalyst. Says it's the best sled in the industry. Said it absolutely blows the Poo 650 models away. Looking forward to an excellent response from him on this subject. He should be able to provide real life info as I think he said he's up to 6 miles on his.
  23. That's probably equivalent to 300 miles for you know who. Another couple of weeks of mild weather here. Got me 260 miles, did that in 3 days before the warm and rain took away most of the snow.
  24. Maybe you exceeded the 50 mph limit that some on here have, no wonder their shit lasts
