Country cat was selling IFP riots for 10,999
-
Not $2000 the 2000 440. Or I’ll just go to CT or wherever it is and steal it
-
Just give the 2000 in the will
-
I thought they had upped it to 10 in the last few years but maybe not
-
Don’t they legally have to keep parts for 10 years? Realistically though besides turdbowl guys (and sp5 nerds) who’s putting oem parts in 570s and 800 zukes?
-
They have to keep 800 and 1100 zuke parts for a few more years maybe 1 more on your motor IIRC. Probably has more to do with an extra vendor contract for a very small percentage of parts they sell than anything else

Last I heard he was trying to get a 6 wheeler class at the GD Soo

The riot kinda fills that mold now with the narrower front end and twin rail, although it’s not full mountain narrow.

Procross sleds don’t even run 120-130 consistently. They run 105 or they run 160+ -

It doesn’t because it’s mounted and shaped in a way that doesn’t allow it to. -
Justin is working on more terrain and ski hill races for out here, trying to get 4-2 terrain-ice. NEXC would do the same but turns out nobody wants to let you use their land when you put on races with no insurance

Have a triaxle load of dirt dropped in the woods then you can be official neighbors with the whole family. Little bastards love dirt piles for their house

I doubt much if any snow hits the track off of the flare. The way they mount even makes it scientifically hard for it to happen. @favoritos setup on the achat post would for sure direct way more snow towards the track than the cat ones ever will, which makes sense because that’s not what the cat ones are designed for. I have 2 limiteds in the family that came stock with flares and both of them get hot in the same conditions my RR or RXC procross’s would. Your back stays drier on the LTDs though which is once again what the flares are designed for -
I had one (maybe multiple who knows) that would trot past me at one of my old hunting spots almost every morning at the same time for a few years. They’re beautiful animals and super cool to watch.

Some conditions you can’t avoid it but riding hard keeping the track spinning with studs helps a lot on the procross chassis -

Yea it’s kind of a given especially in the way they put it out there. The cat front end is as point and shoot in pretty much all conditions as it was with the procross but feels much lighter -

There’s really nothing wrong with the polaris sleds I like them a lot too but their front end opinion is way off the real world. One of the conversations had that day was “when you get bigger carbides on the polaris like the cat they should be pretty close” they both had their respective 4” factory carbides on them. -

The front end discussion has been their big thing they’re wrong on for a long time “it turns really good in loose snow but will get some inside ski lift when the trails are rock hard” yea no shit if it bites on a trail with no bite in the snow it’s really gonna grab on one that’s set up hard. They obviously have the cat over the ski doo for handling because no amount of talking can make people believe those things aren’t bulldozers in corners. We rode between Toms VR1 and a couple catalysts all day one day this winter and the catalysts could all turn in better than the Matryx and hold a line at higher speeds through corners. They both turn well and do well through bumps but the real world nod has to go to the point and shoot cat front end. The slide action skid is still a slide action, it works ok but not as good as the other two if you’re cruising around slow but in big bumps at higher speeds is where that skid frame shines. They probably do have a new one on the way in the next year or two though. -

Stock motor you can only do clutching and gears in stock class. Still running the same rpm. No different than holding a stock 800/850 or even 600 for that matter pinned down a long rail bed for 5-6 miles -

That was in ice lemans race form and on a mile long straight coming out of a corner at 40-50. Fastest poo was 110 or 111 and catalyst was Paul brown at 107 IIRC -
