  5. Sx sleds are "for competition use only" on the top tag of the tunnel Try again? responding to someone about 858s and saying full production models will start around january... these are your words exactly.
  6. I haven't talked to carl this week , its on my list of to-do's
  7. This isnt the fb humor thread... The reality is #1. why would you spend 11k+ on a new sled when in a year you could own the big bore (that you dont need) I dont think the economic landscape is a big of a hindrance as we would think on a niche market like snowmobiles. and starting production this winter on the 858s ....
  8. which would make perfect sense
  9. Yup that was the boss , it was interesting to learn about it alot.
  10. I had the outer sheeve issue with my 16 800 , when I was talking to some of the now former engineering folks from cat they told me that the bellville washer and overtightening would cause that (I always tightened it by hand not with a torque wrench). When I started torquing them I never had the problem again.
  11. my 22 and 23 were the boss two piece secondarys and didnt float? unless theres something I am not seeing with it. I know you know your stuff , Im just trying to understand the floating notion of the two piece clutch
  12. its the difference of exvol. and invol, drivers. not sure if they are both 8 tooth or not will be interesting to see if there are some bigger legs on the rxc or not
  13. Just having a conversation with Procross225 via fb messenger and I didnt even realize this. The Rxc has a 1.9 ratio All other flat land sleds - regardless of 129/137 is a 2.2 ratio and uses a different driver set than the rxc 0728-281 is the number of the 129/137 driver assembly but it is not found anywhere.
  14. Got it home, mine has the dreaded tires tangled into the recoil , looking at it - looks like the recoil guide is installed on the wrong side of the frame spar. Didn't bother to mess with it at this point just wanted to get everything stripped off it so its ready when parts come in and I am 100% again.
  15. well this happened. if anyone wants a 0 mile 2023 rxc I've got one of those for sale lol.
  16. last year was 110% on the isoc hired snow maker , guy was a waste of space. They started on snowmaking two weeks ago but if mother nature keeps up her shit (as its predicted) it will be difficult again.
  17. I dont know for this past weekends event ... however Caterbury sells out every year at 16,000 capacity and people stand outside to watch it. What did snocross do to hurt you ? you seem damaged ..
  18. https://m.startribune.com/three-sled-dogs-killed-in-alaska-crash-with-polaris-snowmobile-test-driver/600328522/?fbclid=IwAR0k1lYYPNrUMt--0ZiH_6eiq7lT_T38xpt0LtrChx5vt4NJOWFOnJ5FFKE according to polaris he was riding at a reasonable speed.
  19. the clowns that have access to the numbers to say viewership and attendance is up ... vs your ignorant opinion. Snocross is televised for free on fox sports this year.
  20. You do realize there was 3/4 of an inch of rain on friday right ? and warm temps all week preventing snow making and they still managed to pull off an event. I guess they should just fold so the industry gets even smaller huh.
  21. Reduced oem support. It wasn’t going to last as it was in 2003. No excuses there. But the series isn’t dying as you make it seem.
  22. 25 teams in 2019 before the pandemic hit… excuses ??
