  1. I have both and have had past sleds with them both. It likely comes down to individual model and even then you're probably hard pressed to tell a difference. But just to add to the spirit of topic.. how about carbon pedals vs reed spacers..
  2. Do you often start your day by syphoning out all your fuel and then adding 6 gallons?
  3. Why would 5 gallons matter? Now I know what you're all going to say, because gas tanks are different capacity.. so? That doesn't change the fact that it's still X weight when you're ready to hit the trail. Unless of course you think guys with bigger gas tanks don't fill them up then that's some crazy goggle shit right there. Same thing with questionings coolants capacity, why does that matter? They're weighing sleds how they're ridden. End of story. You guys should camouflage the excuse generator it is currently blaze orange and has a rumble pack can on it
  4. Lol this is so damn predictable fuck you guys are miserable.
  5. Mike Kloety podcast up. I'm sure some of the experts here could educate him on a lot of things
  6. Some inconvenient truth there. Cricket season already?
  7. They are serviceable and anyone who does shocks can do them it's nothing special. It's just cleaning them out and filling with nitrogen and new oil. Typically is around 30-35$ per shock for basic maintenance service. It's worth doing to keep them working well and make them last longer too.
  8. Not sure if it's just the picture but the threads looks a little different too. Those cheap ones are probably only about good for smoking your drugs out of
  9. They listen to customers. The catalyst itself is proof of that. They don't entirely change a snowmobile based off one narcissistic guy whining at a show thing. Yep they are tanking themselves, the #1 talked about snowmobile for 18 months. You people have been saying this about cat forever, and yet here they are. This site is the only place I hear people crying about clutching. All 3 people. I have yet to hear anyone say the seat is too soft. I have seen numerous posts on FB from older guys complaining that the seat is too hard and hurts their butt. But let me guess, you guys want them to make only the changes that you personally want. All the snowmobile media has not said anything about clutching or the seat... In fact it's the exact opposite, they say the engine is awesome and it feels incredibly good for a 600. Psst, that includes clutching. They also say best seating position/ergos/rider triangle in the industry. Psst this includes the SEAT. You guys should get a life, if cat is so bad why do you own them or care about them? Some people are just miserable AF and that is you guys. Just live to bitch.
  10. Maybe they didn't like something about you? Seat foam is something that every person will have a different opinion of. They aren't going to go back and switch foams because of what one guy said to them. Are you that self centered where you think they should? I can guarantee you some people will think is too soft, some will think it's too firm, some will think it's too skinny, some think too fat, etc etc. As long as that is the case they're not going to care what one person comes up to them and says about it. Those people are there to give info to consumers, it's a one way info path. They don't care what infinite wisdom Joe Blow off the street has to say. If they want the feedback they'll do surveys and monitor things online.
  11. Don't even know what you're trying to say. I am aware people are in debt for those things. Do you mean under 4k? Either way, there's plenty of sleds I want that are both over and under 4k!!!
  12. I don't think so. A snowmobile is a complete toy (for most) that depreciates rapidly and every time you use it you're also spending money, for some people alot more. And it's seasonal only and then sits for months while you're making payments and making someone else rich instead of yourself. You should never go into debt for a total recreational luxury item, especially when there's ones out there you can actually afford. But reading some magazines and fomo is all it takes for some to have negative money. A car or truck literally makes you money if you need it to get you to work. That alone makes the car infinitely more valuable. Car is a need, sled is a want. Not that I'm advocating for car payments either, I've never had one but it's way more understandable than a sled payment, that's a joke!
  13. I wonder if that's because they live on credit.. But sure go into deeper debt for a winter toy that should help the old savings situation out. There are plenty of good used sleds they can afford for under 4k. And those sleds also won't depreciate so they won't be losing shit loads of money that they don't even have.
  14. Careful, check for stop rides before you buy
  15. They should keep saving their money or buy a model they can afford
  16. Snowtrax guy said it's the best looking snowmobile so just proves the bias of people here
  17. The only ones bitching about calibration are those who can't calibrate. I wouldn't trust them with carbs either!
  18. They ran it on the dyno because that's what they do, they dyno sleds. The snowest gripe was not about HP. They said HP was good. So the dyno chasers can rest easy. Definitely disappointed. They gave the caveat that it's preproduction and likely not final but it's what they had to test and it's all they can comments about. Which is fair.
  19. If you're just changing the DD fluid and not splitting the case,I just tip in one side to empty and tip on the other side to fill.
