  1. Well apparently I can ride from home at my new place. Just meet a neighbor who was riding his sled down the road and he informed me I can ride the trail at the end of the road and hook up with the main trail. I had thought it wasn’t allowed because it was a nature preserve. Best Christmas present ever lol.
  2. Never noticed it on tires but I’m in collision repair I don’t usually do mechanical stuff. Crash parts I rarely see made in USA.
  3. I see it every now and then but most of the time it’s made in Canada, Mexico, China, Germany rarely any USA stuff. Maybe more is made here and they just don’t label USA built stuff as much?? funny thing is I got the new fender today and looked at the stamping in it and sure enough made in Sweden. How it can be cheaper to make a fender halfway across the world then ship it here and it is still less than a made in USA one. Seems to me it be cheaper to get them from the plant that makes them in the USA seeing they are both oem brand new fenders. The cars a 21.
  4. Someone needs to slap some sense into these fucking morons coming up with this stupid shit. They made the choice to go to college they can figure out how to pay it off themselves.
  5. Ended up with about 16” looks like some towns got 40”. Already seen some sleds rippin on my ride home. https://www.weather.gov/gyx/LatestSnowfallReports
  6. Just got up and went out to check the snow amount. Looks like we got almost a foot already out here in the monadnock region. How’s everyone else doing for snow?
  7. Can’t remember the last time I’ve seen made in USA stamped on any auto part especially Volvo. I was shocked.
  8. Looks to stay fairly cold for at least a week. I hope we don’t get no freaking mid winter melt down like normal this year.
  9. WMUR is saying 6-12 of fluffy stuff for southern NH for tomorrow storm. Storms starting to look good for down south anyways.
  10. Better than nothing hopefully that jackpot spot moves north. I’m just happy it’s cold again.
  11. Nice, I grew up close to there use to ride those power lines off 122 a lot down to that pit behind walmart it’s all houses now though.
  12. Yup, We love it here. You in Amherst? It’s funny my buddy Steve is from Amherst well he actually moved few months ago.
  13. Been going out during this entire “pandemic” never got sick either. We lost two restaurants that we use to go to they just couldn’t make it work. Even just the past two weekends we’ve gone out for dinner I’ve noticed substantially less people eating inside since the numbers started going back up and the media setting off another scare campaign. We went out last night and we were one of only two families in the place at the middle of dinner time. This place a month ago was filled to capacity(well socially distance capacity)
  14. We use to ride all over western central NH when we first started riding. We use to unload in Washington at eccards farm and do loops all over that area. When there is snow the trails are actually pretty good for southern NH It’s been years since I’ve rode that area maybe if we get good snow this year I’ll do some day trips.
  15. Looks like some snow next weekend possibly. With a week of cold to freeze things up prior. We will see
  16. I could ride from home growing up and up until this summer when we sold our old house. I’m not sure how I feel about it being the first time in my entire life not having access right out the door. The wife insisted trail access wasn’t a priority for the new house. Watch this year southern NH will have a freakin epic winter.
  17. Looks like after this weekend it will get cold again and hopefully stay that way. Hoping to be up and running for a New Years ride.
  18. Ya I figured was just trying to get some discussion going here in the NH section
  19. Went to trade school for a year after high school. If I remember right it was about 22k with a dorm room(stayed out of state). Took me 2 years to pay it off. Made shit my first year and had to buy a crap load of tools so I worked 2nd job at night for extra play money. By my second year in the trade I’ve made more quit the night job and I’ve made more money every year since. It’s hard work but I make damn good money for no college degree more than most I still talk to from high school who went the college route.
