  1. Note the authors. https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMe2002387 Covid-19 — Navigating the Uncharted List of authors. Anthony S. Fauci, M.D., H. Clifford Lane, M.D., and Robert R. Redfield, M.D. On the basis of a case definition requiring a diagnosis of pneumonia, the currently reported case fatality rate is approximately 2%.4 In another article in the Journal, Guan et al.5 report mortality of 1.4% among 1099 patients with laboratory-confirmed Covid-19; these patients had a wide spectrum of disease severity. If one assumes that the number of asymptomatic or minimally symptomatic cases is several times as high as the number of reported cases, the case fatality rate may be considerably less than 1%. This suggests that the overall clinical consequences of Covid-19 may ultimately be more akin to those of a severe seasonal influenza (which has a case fatality rate of approximately 0.1%) or a pandemic influenza (similar to those in 1957 and 1968) rather than a disease similar to SARS or MERS, which have had case fatality rates of 9 to 10% and 36%, respectively.2
  2. What is a cold? Viral infection of the URT. For some people it can be dangerous. https://www.newsweek.com/common-cold-deadly-1479824
  3. https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/08/nyregion/new-york-coronavirus-response-delays.html A 39-year-old woman took Flight 701 from Doha, Qatar, to John F. Kennedy International Airport in late February, the final leg of her trip home to New York City from Iran. A week later, on March 1, she tested positive for the coronavirus, the first confirmed case in New York City of an outbreak that had already devastated China and parts of Europe. The next day, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo, appearing with Mayor Bill de Blasio at a news conference, promised that health investigators would track down every person on the woman’s flight. But no one did. A day later, a lawyer from New Rochelle, a New York City suburb, tested positive for the virus — an alarming sign because he had not traveled to any affected country, suggesting community spread was already taking place. Although city investigators had traced the lawyer’s whereabouts and connections to the most crowded corridors of Manhattan, the state’s efforts focused on the suburb, not the city, and Mr. de Blasio urged the public not to worry. “We’ll tell you the second we think you should change your behavior,” the mayor said on March 5. For many days after the first positive test, as the coronavirus silently spread throughout the New York region, Mr. Cuomo, Mr. de Blasio and their top aides projected an unswerving confidence that the outbreak would be readily contained. There would be cases, they repeatedly said, but New York’s hospitals were some of the best in the world. Plans were in place. Responses had been rehearsed during “tabletop” exercises. After all, the city had been here before — Ebola, Zika, the H1N1 virus, even Sept. 11. “Excuse our arrogance as New Yorkers — I speak for the mayor also on this one — we think we have the best health care system on the planet right here in New York,” Mr. Cuomo said on March 2. “So, when you’re saying, what happened in other countries versus what happened here, we don’t even think it’s going to be as bad as it was in other countries.”
  4. Guess who they were paying attention to.....including Trump?
  5. Pelosi February 24th. https://yournews.com/2020/03/30/1536317/in-late-february-nancy-pelosi-encouraged-large-groups-to-congregate/ The footage, which was taken on February 24th, is introduced by a reporter noting how Pelosi wanted residents to understand how it’s “perfectly safe to be here” in Chinatown. “We do want to say to people, come to Chinatown, here we are…come join us,” said Pelosi.
  6. De Blasio over a month later. "Since I’m encouraging New Yorkers to go on with your lives + get out on the town despite Coronavirus, I thought I would offer some suggestions," de Blasio tweeted on March 2. "Here’s the first: thru Thurs 3/5 go see The Traitor [at Lincoln Center]. If The Wire was a true story + set in Italy, it would be this film."
  7. January 26th to be specific.
  8. Lets keep in mind how much of our med's and med ingredients come from China yet. There will be a time and a place to throw them under the bus. Right now is not that time. We can call it what it is but the President must operate on a different level and think about the larger picture.
  9. Doubtful in CA. Its not even a crime anymore to intentionally infect someone with HIV there.
  10. Well considering from the chart I posted from the CDC shows that positive tests dropped off a cliff its fair to assume the deaths have declined as well. Generally speaking those numbers are tied together. If you look at past years the decline has been much sharper recently.
  11. The flu testing death reporting dropped off a table. They are all be attributed to Covid-19.
  12. Just because someone has Covid19 doesn't mean it caused their death and we are reporting it that way.
  13. Running from the police that involves putting the public in serious danger should involve serious jail time. Nothing less than 10-15 years.
  14. Coroners test 100% of cases? No. My father died in an accident and there was no autopsy or coroners report. The doctor ruled cause of death. The majority of deaths are not investigated by the coroner. If the deceased has been under medical care, or has been seen by a doctor within 14 days of death, then the doctor can issue a death certificate.
  15. How do we know accurate numbers when we are attributing any pneumonia or flu deaths to covid? My point is the inaccuracy of the numbers being reported. I just want the truth. Does it mean we change how this is being handled? Maybe, maybe not but don't fudge the number to get compliance.
  16. 6 weeks. First death in the US was Feb 29th so it was here before then so actually longer. Likely 8 or more. Most flu seasons we lose 10000 a month.
  17. Which dramatically drives down the mortality rate. A lot more people have it than are being confirmed and a lot of deaths are being labeled covid that aren't. I just want the accurate numbers.
  18. Post one thing of proof that is physical and not opinion and I'll look at it. I think I have a pretty open mind about things. Remember the bold goes both ways. I posted a video of them testing curvature of the earth with a laser over water that proved a drop and if I recall you called it bogus.
