  1. "Assault Rifles" is a political issue. Nothing more, nothing less. If Dem's cared about saving lives they wouldn't focus on semi-automatic weapons. They would do more on DD and medical malpractice. When someone is killed during a DD accident is it the Alcohol's or vehicles fault? When a doctor kills someone is it the instruments or medications fault or the doctors? I cannot stand the hypocrisy of the left. Funny how when a cop shoots and kills an innocent person its never the guns fault then.
  2. You find this more disturbing than the Clinton foundation taking donations from foreign govt's and suspicious characters and paying friends to do "charity" work? http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2015/04/the-clinton-foundation-a-slush-fund-fund-for-the-clintons.php The Clinton Foundation joins Al Sharpton’s troubled National Action Network on Charity Navigator’s list. It seems appropriate that two great con artists, Bill Clinton and Al Sharpton, should be thus be joined. Sharpton’s outfit reportedly made the list because it didn’t pay payroll taxes for several years. The Clinton Foundation’s problems run deeper. According to the Post, it took in more than $140 million in grants and pledges in 2013 but spent just $9 million on direct aid. Much of the Foundation’s money goes to travel ($8.5 million in 2013); conferences, conventions and meetings ($9.2 million); and payroll and employee benefits ($30 million). Ten executives received salaries of more than $100,000 in 2013. Eric Braverman, a friend of Chelsea Clinton, was paid nearly $275,000 in salary, benefits, and a housing allowance for just five months’ work as CEO that year.
  3. To any intelligent person mine were rhetorical questions. Not surprised you missed that. Your getting as bad as Ben. Carry on.
  4. I hope the polar icecaps melt sending us into a major iceage because of the change in the oceans. Year long sledding baby!
  5. I was pretty full. Decided it wouldn't be best to get out of the car. I had already said "really a license plate light" and he responded "yeah you got a problem with that." No need to go any further than that at that point with a young cop already on a power trip.
  6. Wife and I got pulled over because our license plate light was out Sunday morning going home from a grad party. She was DD. Got home to find out the light was working. We got a local small town cop who is on a power trip. Best part is he has 2 DUI's himself.
  7. Quantitative easing is a socialist program? We are $18 trillion in debt because of capitalism?
  8. No you are correct. The judge ordered the govt to do a few things regarding recourse for those on the list. Not sure if they have held up their part of the bargain. They did let the 10-13 who filed the suit thru the ACLU fly home after additional screening.
  9. Reality is there is nothing wrong and we should have watch lists. The problem is when there is no due process of these lists when they start taking away freedom's that American's enjoy. If Marteen had made threats then he should have been prosecuted. If found not guilty then so be it at least we put it in the hands of the legal system. I'm very surprised at Ben's stance on this. He's often acted like such a proponent of peoples constitutional rights.
  10. Now, go read the portion of my earlier post where travel restriction is up to the states and NOT the federal govt and ask yourself who controls the terror watch list or no fly list. In your example are you suggesting we confiscate their vehicle?
  11. Was Marteen on a do not fly list? No. I don't believe he was even on a terror watch list. Knee jerk laws don't solve problems.
  12. You didn't realize that without seeing this interview?
  13. Someone can get their drivers license revoked for something they said? Your comparison is not valid.
  14. Bullshit. When you need to get from one coast to another to a funeral its restriction of travel. This doesn't even begin to cover life, liberty and pursuit of happiness. You are a medicated retard.
  15. Got to love Bernie and his socialist democracy theories and he won't answer questions on why so many South American socialist countries are failing. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2016/05/30/bernie_sanders_isnt_interested_in_answering_questions_about_socialism_in_venezuela.html LEÓN KRAUZE, UNIVISION: I am sure that you know about this topic: various leftist governments, especially the populists, are in serious trouble in Latin America. The socialist model in Venezuela has the country near collapse. Argentina, also Brazil, how do you explain that failure?BERNIE SANDERS, DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE: You are asking me questions…LEÓN KRAUZE, UNIVISION: I am sure you’re interested in that.BERNIE SANDERS, DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE: I am very interested, but right now I’m running for President of the United States.LEÓN KRAUZE, UNIVISION: So you don’t have an opinion about the crisis in Venezuela?BERNIE SANDERS, DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE: Of course I have an opinion, but as I said, I’m focused on my campaign. In other words Bernie can't answer because there is no good one.
  16. Actually you are wrong. While a stupid law it can be illegal simply to be drunk in a bar even if you are doing nothing wrong. I think each state is different. Unless your sleeping in the bar pretty hard to not eventually be in public to get home. http://vinepair.com/wine-blog/9-strange-american-booze-laws/
  17. But the drunk person has already done something illegal by being "drunk in public." (In my best Ron White voice.) I'm all for private business' to be able to refuse sale to someone but doesn't this bring up the discrimination side of it if they refuse sale simply because they look Middle Eastern or Muslim? The Orlando shooter may have acted perfectly normal when purchasing the guns. In fact I've heard of nothing stating he was on a no fly list. How does the no fly list banning weapons purchases stop this?
  18. Freedom of movement under United States law is governed primarily by the Privileges and Immunities Clause of the United States Constitution which states, "The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States." As far back as the circuit court ruling in Corfield v. Coryell, 6 Fed. Cas. 546 (1823), the Supreme Court recognized freedom of movement as a fundamental Constitutional right. In Paul v. Virginia, 75 U.S. 168 (1869), the Court defined freedom of movement as "right of free ingress into other States, and egress from them."[1] However, the Supreme Court did not invest the federal government with the authority to protect freedom of movement. Under the "privileges and immunities" clause, this authority was given to the states, a position the Court held consistently through the years in cases such as Ward v. Maryland, 79 U.S. 418 (1871), the Slaughter-House Cases, 83 U.S. 36 (1873) and United States v. Harris, 106 U.S. 629 (1883).[2][3] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_of_movement_under_United_States_law
  19. 85% of American's don't understand the constitution.
  20. You crack me up with your categorization of people. Just tell me who is the minority when you group all of your "minorities" together? To you everyone who is not white christian male is a minority. God you are a loon.
  21. Not for saying something or visiting a particular website they can't. A no fly list with no reasonable way to get off of it can violate a persons right of "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." On top of this you have due process infringement. From the court decision. One need not look beyond the hardships suffered by Plaintiffs to understand the significance of the deprivation of the right to travel internationally. Due to the major burden imposed by inclusion on the No-Fly List, Plaintiffs have suffered significantly including long-term separation from spouses and children; the inability to access desired medical and prenatal care; the inability to pursue an education of their choosing; the inability to participate in important religious rites; loss of employment opportunities; loss of government entitlements; the inability to visit family; and the inability to attend important personal and family events such as graduations, weddings, and funerals. The Court concludes international travel is not a mere convenience or luxury in this modern world. Indeed, for many international travel is a necessary aspect of liberties sacred to members of a free society.
  22. Really comes down to what athletic moves are being measured. Some NBA players are superb athletes but so are a lot of football players.
