  2. An economist at Yale...that's right an economist set us one the path of what the current temp and what increase would be dangerous. AT the same time many were predicting an ice age. In the 1970s, William Nordhaus, an economist at Yale, suggested in several papers that if global warming were to exceed 2° C on average, it would push global conditions past any point that any human civilization had experienced.1,2 At the time, Nordhaus's idea was a simple suggestion of what rise in temperature could cause extreme conditions, based on the historical record of past average temperatures, but it gained new importance a decade later. https://climate.mit.edu/ask-mit/why-did-ipcc-choose-2deg-c-goal-limiting-global-warming
  3. If the notes are strictly personal they can keep them. If they involve VP govt functions they aren't supposed to. That is usually negotiated with the National Archives. He wasn't charged you fucking douche.....that was released long ago.
  4. Nobody said they couldn't possess them while still in office. FFS dude you are really out to lunch if you don't see how taking notes on classified materials become classified and part of the regular Presidential records. No different any employee who would take notes while be paid those notes become property of the company.
  5. It must be miserable to even see Trump in your sleep and dreams.
  6. No not if it was about govt business and especially if it was about classified material. At least that is what the DOJ is saying about stuff Trump kept. But even a handwritten note can be considered classified if someone is recording observations related to a classified document or briefing. Such notes can be deemed classified even if not marked as such. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/biden-willfully-disclosed-classified-materials-but-no-criminal-charges-warranted-special-counsel-says
  7. Why is it troubling? Innocent until proven guilty and he never gave classified documents away. Biden willfully disclosed classified documents and wasn't charged. https://www.pbs.org/newshour/politics/biden-willfully-disclosed-classified-materials-but-no-criminal-charges-warranted-special-counsel-says
  8. I've seen some really weird shit that was hard to explain in a few haunted places when I was in school in Texas but for the most part I'm not sold on ghosts. One was a cemetery and the grave of a young boy that was murdered. The headstone and a picture of the boy and some vandals shot a hole in the forehead. As we approached one rainy night you could see a green glow coming from the hole. When you got up close it faded away. There was zero light to reflect. Another was told to me by a few of the same people that went with me to the cemetery. There was a baby cemetery they use to go to in high school. The road thru it had a bridge that you would stop and get out of the car and walk away. When you came back there would supposedly be baby footprints all over your car.
  9. I for the most part lean towards life after death for many reasons but here are a few. First I believe something had to start this whole thing. I don't buy into that it all came from nothing nor that its all been here infinitely. Second is there are some compelling stories of children who have been brought back to life telling of relatives and what not that they never were told about. One was made into a movie where the child talked about a sister that the mother had a miscarriage late in pregnancy. I think Greg Kinnear stared in it. I would always be skeptical of an adult telling a story like that but it makes it more possible when it happens to a child. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heaven_Is_for_Real_(film) Third I think there is some validation from the research in the book/film "A Case for Christ." Of course many will come on here and make fun of me or others that believe which is fine. Pointing fun at something you don't understand is normal.
  10. Wouldn't an actual ghost prove something after death, deity or not.
  11. I love these posts. They cherry pick a starting point so it appears the "average" temps are lower than realistic. Then they call the gas that is responsible for all life to exist a pollutant.
  12. Hate to break it to you fella but we would too.
  13. This thread epitomizes this forum perfectly. Person A: I'm right you are wrong. Person B: No I'm right and you are wrong. Person A: Faggot Person B: No you're a faggot.

Well if Biden don't run then who? Harris can't be Trump and Trump polls very well against Newsome. Michelle isn't going to run. She loves her cushy millionaires life. They push Harris aside and the female black vote will stay home. As it sits right now Haley running 3rd party is Trumps biggest threat. Not to win but to Perot Trump.

Even some liberal outlets think Trump is looking solid for 252 EC votes with him polling very well in Arizona and Nevada. That leaves 4 states, WI, MI, PA and GA. Trump would need PE or 2 of the other remaining states. https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/president-general/2024/arizona/ https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/polls/president-general/2024/nevada/
  16. Although the automotive industry did not become hooked on turbocharging until a few decades ago, the concept has an extensive history. In 1905, Swiss born Dr. Alfred Büchi received the first patent on a turbocharger for a marine engine. However, the concept of turbocharging goes back to the end of the 19th century when both Gottlieb Daimler and Rudolf Diesel were doing research into forced induction. The first turbochargers were not applied to marine or automotive: they were applied to airplanes. https://www.turbocharger.mtee.eu/a-history-of-turbocharging/

The best thing to happen for the Dem's is something to happen to Jill. She has to be a big part of why they aren't accepting his decline.
  18. If a machine has a mechanism that uses exhaust gases to increase intake then in my book its turbocharged. Basically a supercharger that uses exhaust gasses.

Laugh all you want dude but Biden is in serious trouble in November. Yes a lot can change between now and then but its hard to argue that plenty is going Trump's way.
  20. Ours as well....more talking about other recreation where the landowner gives permission and the country/state isn't involved.
  21. Kind of depends on what the use of those fields are. Our small town has trouble enough finding land for residential development. Focus still should be on point of use more than anything.

Honestly the Dems are in a relatively hard position. Some "statistics" do show parts of the economy as doing well enough but how a huge prortion of the population are feeling with prices remaining high just doesn't resonate with them. He will want to go on and brag and claim how great it is and the ave Joe is like "WTF world are you living in dude." Border crisis. That is 100% on Biden. He has to eat that turd sandwich. Crime in the cities. That is 100% on the left. They have to eat that turd sandwich. Hey its tough to administer policy....nobody is saying it isn't but this administration has failed miserably in area's extremely important to 100 million voters.
