  1. Its quite a bit, like double. And the wife is very frugal and shops around knowing it is so expensive. The good news is alot of stores are getting on the band wagon now and selling healthier versions of our regular items. Until recently about the only place you could go for this kind of stuff is whole foods aka "whole paycheck" .

  10. Ive never voted for a dem in my life. I dont plan on it either.
  11. Hey just vote republican, they are trying to fix it!
  12. Youve already been poisoned bro... It has caused extensive brain damage already. Its self evident in your posts and responses.
  13. They are fucking idiots. defending the companies poisoning our food and defending the manner in which they do it (Using the govt thru FDA and USDA and legislation protecting them from liability) and then blaming those who are being poisoned for NOT doing their own due diligence because thats how the free market works! Are you fucking kidding me?
  14. $14.23 for us. Looking at it right now. Got an audit coming up next month.
  15. Its what I have been saying, nobody is opposed to single payer, as long as they dont have to pay for it. They want somebody else to pay for it. Their employer. .
  16. My wife and I are on an all organic diet. She was put on it by her doctor due to certain health issues and I figured it was best we all do it. It is fucking hard going thru the ingredients on all of the food we buy. No hydrogenated oils. No soy, No gluten, no GMO's, No high fructose corn syrup, only specific forms (and brands) of dairy, Hormone anti-biotic free meat, etc... It is fucking expensive too. I guarantee alot of families cant afford our grocery bill in fact some of our friends (who are 2 income families) cant afford it. And eating out?
  17. We use several clinic networks for our in house medical monitoring of employees and also for injury treatment on job sites(non-life threatening of course). They faster and more affordable as they dont have the immense overhead of a full blown hospital.
  18. Its really disgusting and isnt being debated. Many of the food additives we use here are banned in other countries due to the adverse health risks. Proven health risks. Only in merica. And the argument for not banning them here? People need to take responsibility for what they put in their mouths...
  19. Sure but you are looking at this as insurance as part of the solution. IMO that is never going to be part of the solution. This issue has many components. A healthier population should be part of the solution as well. But food companies, pharmaceutical companies and medical providers are going to lose money and that just isnt part of the discussion.
  20. If your whole argument is "Someone isnt going to pay their fair share!" Well, you know...
  21. Well the rest of the world figured out a solution. And they arent having these debates...
