I dont think there are many real conservatives now, thats why i call them neo-conservatives (aka Neocons). One of the reasons i think most tax reforms are bullshit. It is in fact the libertarians who think taxation is theft. If you need a "leader" to explain this to you then you are most likely NOT a conservative. Fact is republicans dont want guys like Ron Paul or Pat Buchanan in "leadership" roles because essentially republicans are NOT conservative in a fiscal sense. Definitely not republican congressmen. War is not a conservative practice. taxation is not a conservative practice. censorship of rights is not a conservative practice. Interference in the government of other countries is not a conservative practice. But these are all republican practices. Leaders lead by example, not talk one way and act another.

I doubt anyone here is a chemical engineer so not surprising the irrational reactions that are brought up when these topics are introduced. These components were used because of their properties that made them good choices for various applications. No doubt regulation has brought about alot of improvements in many of these instances. Many times science can improve upon them, but it hasnt been able to for all of them. They still use lead shielding in x ray rooms. It doesnt pose a threat to human safety in this application and actually is the safety precaution. Asbestos has properties that still make it the best choice for certain applications too.

His leadership skills are fine, most people just arent smart enough to hear what he is saying. If he just touted the usual "Rah Rah!" shit he would be an awesome leader. Pull some old phrases like "If youre not with us, you are with the terrorists!" or " You didnt build that!" or "Ask not what your country can do for you! Ask what you can do for your country!" Because when you look at things from a cost impact, the abortion is the most cost effective. Especially when you compare it to the costs of public educations. possible medical care, food, housing and potential incarceration. If you and other so called "conservatives" were really fiscal conservatives this is part of the equation here. Unwanted kids have a society cost to all even if you dont have the government pay for them.

I have actually seen a brochure from a Canadian mining company about how certain types of asbestos arent that dangerous. Trying to reintroduce it to the marketplace. This was probably 10 years ago.

It was widely used for that. It really is a fantastic product for what it is used for. In its day it was considered a miracle product. Very versatile and practically indestructible.

No you are assuming that. I said black neighborhoods. And in case you didnt know, ID is required to vote around here. On the bold, I guarantee I live around and associate with a hell of alot more black people than most of you. I would bet on it.

I know more hispanics who like Trump. Quite a few surprisingly. But I honestly dont personally know any blacks who do. And unlike most of you people I know alot of black people and work and interact with alot more. I feel pretty safe saying that Trump is not very regarded by blacks. I am not saying that universally because obviously some do like him. But not what I can see around here.

I dont know if you knew this but manufacturers are required to put ingredients, chemicals, substances used in making a product on the package or in a Safety Data Sheet for the product. They are not going to start putting asbestos back into consumer goods. Its not going to happen. And some regulations(regarding asbestos) should be rolled back as they are just uber redundant and dont improve safety which also makes them cost prohibitive and unnecessary. Dont get me wrong, I make more money with stricter regulations, but some are just ridiculous.
