  1. See? Things aren't as bad as you think they are. If people would quit obsessing over this person did that and that person did this, and just go live life they'd realize it's not so bad right now. You're never going to find a politician that 100. Percent aligns with your views. all you can do is vote for the few issues that really matter to you. I voted for trump, but I don't agree with his tariff plans, i understand the need for them but I don't think the timing was right. Pretty much everything else i'm okay with. Sure the stock market is down, but it'll go up and down many more times before I retire so there's no point in even worrying about it. From my point of view the economy seems to be doing just fine. I work in the recreational vehicle industry and we haven't been this busy in many many years if people are buying rvs they must feel pretty comfortable in their financial situations. I can't imagine being so miserable that I have to dig up stories and post them everyday showing. How bad things are and then argue with other people about it. Get a hobby and get away from the computer for a while it would. Do you some Good.
  2. That particular chart is the rate. Most everything has gone up in price, what is it the inflation rate or greed from manufacturers? Pretty hard to say in my opinion. Look at the price of sleds, they've gone up drastically and the Last 4 or 5 years but so. Has The technology that we demand. So is that inflation or the natural growth and life cycle of a product?
  3. I've got no complaints about how things are going. Lifes pretty good right now, hopefully the politicians don't screw it up
  4. Negotiating tactics of some in here https://youtu.be/4oaEfBMA7AE?si=4EKoQ4oYoViQwd-b
  5. Sounds like it was a good negotiation tactics. Time will tell in a few months how it works out. Right now the panicked left and the pretend fiscal conservatives are looking kinda foolish
  6. It's nothing new, They've been doing that for many years on the US side. I used to go up there for work and about 1 in 7 or 8 times they'd search my truck and trailer and go through my phone.
  7. I did nothing but Canada deliveries for 10 or 12 years straight untill covid hit. The year covid came along i did 5 back to back whitehorse yt deliveries and decided it wasn't worth going up there anymore. They were in a total police state lockdown, and all the bs I had to put up with just wasn't worth it. There hasn't been much going up there the last few years so I figured sales were way down. The trailers have always been built like shit way before covid, no way in hell I'd ever own 1!
  8. No I'm going to kalispell mt for work. Sx isn't really my thing anyway.
  9. Probly better off burning it.....
  10. Not this trip, but pm me if you're serious and I can probably help out
  11. I just bought 185 gal in Madison for $2.85🤷 I'm ok with that price.
  12. Same here, cheaper diesel for me and cheap fuel for the people buying the rvs i deliver. I haven't seen it this busy since before covid. Manufacturers are pumping them out faster than we can deliver them. All the transport companies in elkhart co are hiring along with most of the factories. Should be a good year for guys like me! This is 1 row of a 40ac lot, we have 7 similar to this. There's a dozen or so transport companies that all have similar lots jammed full
  13. Yep, no snow in the midwest
  14. I tried getting pat some help setting a race up in bayfield county but it never went anywhere. I also put my time in taking down plenty of course markers back in the day too. Some of them were even after the race🤣
  15. They've managed to do it in the past without issues. It's racing, there's always going to be risks. Canada and Alaska have races in way more remote areas than this without problems. Look at desert racing out west and the Baja stuff, alot more remote than any xc race in the midwest
  16. Breakdowns aren't a big deal with course sweepers and check points. Collisions and injuries in the past were always reported to check points by other racers, they had a decent ambulance trailer setup for injured riders to get them to the nearest extraction spot. Still more risk than ditch racing but it's manageable
  17. There would be Too many sled dogs in the way
  18. I'm not sure, but sounds similar to how Canada is run. Seems to work ok up there
  19. State or federal or both?
  20. That would be pretty cool
  21. I think so, it's been a damn long time. Those old school races sure were cool. I doubt you could run 1 into white bear anymore. The locals wouldn't like it lol
  22. I haven't delivered up there in a couple years but there used to be a trail leaving Rosslyn which is basically a sw suburb of TB. The old I500 route back then was mostly single track type bush trails and creek/ cross-country type running untill you got to Rydens
  23. You make everyone pay a share. Maybe have a different rate for the ultra wealthy but not a bunch of different rates to complicate things. A drastic reduction in spending will help.too
