Gold Member BOHICA Posted June 2, 2023 Gold Member Share Posted June 2, 2023 Time to pay up I guess. Fines appear to be getting steeper. 20, 21, 22 fines should be a bit more. They can probably have a cheaper way by buying fuel economy credits from other manufactures with spare ones. The fines were $235.5 million for Stellantis and $128.2 million for General Motors Specifically, NHTSA penalized Stellantis for $235.5 million for vehicles from the 2018 and 2019 model years. NHTSA hit GM with a $128.2 million fine for models from the 2016 and 2017 model years. https://www.motor1.com/news/670334/nhtsa-fines-stellantis-and-general-motors-over-fuel-economy/
