Some make their own luck. "Wire tapping" just doesn't have the same ring as "the Russians!". And despite their every effort, it won't last. The Trump camp might have taken advantage of the Russian narrative, but they didn't do wrong legally based off of the evidence to date. Knowingly using the Russian narrative to your advantage as questionably morally is another story, but legally the Dems have dug a hole on this witch hunt. Their whole base expects convictions and hard evidence. When it doesn't come, they are going to lose a lot of credibility. Especially the media which has spent 5 months running it.
