People Need a Hobby

Has Toronto become ground zero for the protest movement in Canada? The news yesterday covered 3 small protests

1) Freedom of the press. I thought it was about the nonsense between Trump & the US media. I saw on the news this morning that the RCMP is planning to fingerprint all people that work in the House of Commons.

2) Smoking in the movies. A group of health officials feel that the prov' gov't should change the film ratings to prevent persons under the age of 18 from seeing movies where smoking is shown.

3) Ivanka Trump line of clothing. A small group of protestors was outside the flagship HBC store protesting them selling Ivanka Trump's line of fashion.

Not quite as bad as Seoul Korea years ago when protesting seem to be the main activity. There was a recent letter to the editor in the Peterborough Examiner. The letter writer more or less said the 2 people railing against a proposed casino in the city should get a hobby. :lol2:

Toronto's downtown business community is marching for diversity and inclusion. I wish those two words would get banned. All this butthurt in Canada because Trump got elected in the US. People we don't have any skin in that game, so STFU about it already!

Reminds me of the mention of a new Crappy Tire ad that supposedly has gone viral. Apparently it sends a message of "inclusiveness and sportsmanship".

I guess inclusiveness hasn't always been a quality Canadians have had (unlike what the SJWs & media would have us believe). How else do you explain the fat and/or unathletic kids being picked last for teams when we were growing up? I'm pretty sure that happened in the Canada that I grew up in.

Trump's govt still has a big impact on our economy.  Look at the Dow numbers today, and the ripple we experience.

But yeah, enough of the whining!!
