I knew it would only be a matter of time until those that worshiped him, to almost god like status, would turn on him. It's all about keeping the cash flow going from the sheep and those that can't admit they were duped by the whole movement. I guess some need something to believe in so bad that even when their idol exposes the fraud, they have no idea how to handle the truth so they just continue on thinking like they were told to do.
