This is not good....24 sailors tested positive for Covid 19 and now they are headed to Guam so all 5000 sailors and pilots can be tested.

Good thing is most of those people should be young and for the most part healthy. 

Most of our cases (Iowa) started with old people on a cruise in Egypt.   Only one has died so far and he had other significant underlying conditions.

Yep. The good news is this mostly only kills old people with preexisting conditions. The vast majority of Americans can pull through this no problem.

but hey lets dock the ship at a navy base and see if we can spread it more rather than spending 3 weeks at sea to let it snuff itself out.

Im sure there are protocols for how they handle this. 
 

I highly doubt they just dock in Guam, let the infected off and let the virus spread rampantly.   Guam may not like that very much.

that is a nice controlled enviroment to put some CDC scientists on board to observe the spread and perhaps experiment with some treatments.
