What should a President do if a foreign country participated in trying to influence our election?

Whether the President elect was targeted or who they were running against was, what should a President do to a foreign country who officials openly bragged about trying to influence our election?   Ukraine unlike Russia had officials openly bragging about trying to help Hillary.

The idea that foreign aid might be delayed so that countries new administration begin's looking into what occurred seems very reasonable to me.   Call it sanctions call it a quid pro quo call it whatever you want.

Now if those corrupt officials also have ties to the previous US administration and their family members then so fucking what.   Is that the current President's fault or the VP and his family?  Would this even be an issue if Biden wasn't running for President?   When you hear Biden's answer as to why he's running I think its becoming more clear as the real reason.

Its curious that it was perfectly acceptable to investigate Trump based off a dossier paid for by Clinton that flat out made up lies yet not ok to request a country look into election corruption by a country whose officials openly admitted to interference in our election.

Here It Is: Audio Reveals Evidence of Collusion Between DNC and Ukraine to Help Hillary, Hurt Trump

An audio recording released by The Blaze appears to indicate that a Ukraine official admitted to working with the Democratic National Committee (DNC) to aide Hillary Clinton’s campaign in 2016.

The recording reveals Artem Sytnyk, director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, stating that he tried to sabotage the campaign of Donald Trump in an effort to boost Clinton.

The Blaze reports on coverage in the Ukrainian media in which Sytnyk, who eventually “was tried and convicted in Ukraine for interfering in the U.S. presidential election in 2016,” has his desire to “help Hillary” explicitly stated.

Ukrainian Embassy confirms DNC contractor solicited Trump dirt in 2016

BY JOHN SOLOMON, OPINION CONTRIBUTOR — 05/02/19 07:00 PM EDT

The boomerang from the Democratic Party’s failed attempt to connect Donald Trump to Russia’s 2016 election meddling is picking up speed, and its flight path crosses right through Moscow’s pesky neighbor, Ukraine. That is where there is growing evidence a foreign power was asked, and in some cases tried, to help Hillary Clinton.

In its most detailed account yet, the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington says a Democratic National Committee (DNC) insider during the 2016 election solicited dirt on Donald Trump’s campaign chairman and even tried to enlist the country's president to help.

In written answers to questions, Ambassador Valeriy Chaly's office says DNC contractor Alexandra Chalupa sought information from the Ukrainian government on Paul Manafort’s dealings inside the country in hopes of forcing the issue before Congress.
