Tommy Williams, 20, and Clarence Williams, 19, were both sentenced to a minimum of 10 years of sex offender intensive supervised probation, with a maximum of life on probation after they and four other suspects allegedly raped the 13-year-old girl inside of an apartment complex in Colorado Springs, Colorado, in December 2016 , Fox News reported. The victim’s grandfather was shocked and upset that the suspects did not receive a more severe punishment. “There was six of them and they gang-raped my granddaughter,” he told KKTV 11 after court Tuesday. Tuesday’s ruling now places four of the six victims on probation instead of behind bars. Two of the men pulled the girl from the bathroom and pushed her into a bedroom where the other four suspects were waiting to rape her, according to the police report. Another one of the suspects, Tyron Williams was sentenced to probation in January 2017 and reportedly said in court that “it wouldn’t have happened in the first place” if he knew the victim was underage. James Williams, another suspect, was also sentenced to five years of probation in August 2016. The victim’s grandmother said that her granddaughter was passed around “like a hand on a clock” and mentioned to the judge in court that she now may now never be able to have children due to the attack. Two of the other four suspects, some of whom are reportedly related to Tommy Williams and Clarence Williams, currently await their sentencing.
