  1. Shit Tim every sled, sled owner, sled person, sled part you know or have owned has either exploded, burned down, seized or blown a head gasket......do you think it's you????.....it's unlikely I will have you up for a flight in my plane......lol
  2. Best most realistic film ever......
  3. Nice ball sack kick......I had an 08 IQ700....nice name....lol. It was a nice riding sled all the same and reliable....which for the win is everything.
  4. The Lester's say they are a bargain sled.....
  5. ball sack special. took some solid engineering to build that.....
  6. That sled gives me a woody......
  7. My MachZ was a good ride, my wife loved it as well, it was so stable, heavier than the 06 MXZ, but it didn't have twitchy front end feel. I would have keep it but having three new sleds and two drivers it didn't make much sense. The only knock was the shitty front shock spring combo on the 05, in 06 they fixed it with a better shock spring combo.
  8. Yep....good memory. That 1" made that sled really work well. I never saw the need for the big paddle track on that sled.
  9. It was a SnoPro, you better of "spanked" him top end. The F7 1"er was a fast little sled for real.
  10. My dad had the 77 SS250 and I had the 77 SS340. The 340 was my first sled. Both of those were fan air, the 1976 was free air. Great little ride but that steel track was like a pair of skates on every turn. Great ride but his price is high, IMO. I like the 91 seat.....it works or me!
  11. I had 06 F7, 05 MachZ and a 06 MXZ 800, all at the same time, all were new sleds. In order of top speed the MachZ was always a bit faster on top end. My F7 was faster on top end than my buddies 03 F7 which was supposed to be the fastest F7 built. If you were never losing to a MachZ and your was a stock F7 the MachZ you were running wasn't working correctly. My MachZ was an 05 and my buddies Mach was an 06. His 06 never ran correctly after about 500 miles or so. There were a number of MachZ that didn't and were slower for sure. The biggest, issue with the 1000 was the E Rave timing, when trying to get top rpm. That motor lked to see 7800 - 8000RPM, when it did there no stock sleds available in 05 - 07 that could run with it at top end.
  12. Steve's??? He had some cheater parts as I recall. I didn't have any issues mechanically with mine, but others did. Mostly cranks, fuel pumps and E Rave timing. I sold my Mach in 2007 with 4600 miles to friend.....last year on Simcoe he blew out the crank, it had 8700 miles.....
  13. Actually downwind a bit which makes a world of difference and it was cold.....I had a stock 1995 Storm run 119 on the gun, same day I ran my dads 93 Indy 500 EFI through the same run right after and it ran 93 mph.
  14. 2005 Mach Z 123 mph on ice, buddies 2006 Mach Z 122 mph, same day side by side....that's important because the speeds change by day and time......if we both were on snow those speeds would be 20 less....... I don't care about the speed....that video that Tim posted would have real value if that Sidewinder was stock and ran against a stock 850 Perry or a XCR 800. I can clutch my XCR800 to run with a stock SW, but it would defeat the purpose of having an XCR..... anyway who the fuck cares.....just show me factory races, no modded shit.
  15. No just run them all stock side by side on they same day and same time......it will be funny actually...
  16. Yep, I know that and of course the turbo better pull in a long distance....I just would like to see an honesty heads up run.....no one ever does that....
  17. Whatever...but they buy the turbo to be the fastest, so stock they are the same as a Perry? I think the video would be better if a stock 850 ran against a stock Sidewinder in the same condition.....on that video it would actually mean something...... Now that would be more useful. I wonder why no one posts that type of video
  18. Tim never mind that bull shit flash stuff, what will they run stock.
  19. Sounds like Charlie. I was surprised when he went back to a Doo. Anyway, I'm sure he will be happy with the Sidewinder. There is no doubt that the Big 4 Smoke will be more stable at top speed, they are well planted....(read heavy)... He is right, the Doo is a little twitchy over 90 mph, I never liked the XP platform but for the record I have not driven the Perry the Platypus yet.....I was hoping to ride his.....I'm sure it is fine. As far as top end, I totally believe him.....it will not run with a 200hp 4 Smoke....nor was it designed to. for the record, and it's my opinion, but strongly believe the manufacturers have a "hand shake" agreement, similar to motorbikes, where the 800/850 twins, will dart to 90 or so mph and hit the wall, as per gearing and clutching. Really the light weight 2 smokes are about trail handling and corner to corner speed. The Sidewinder and ZR9000 are in there own league. If you don't believe me watch the Livington video Blackstar posted showing a Sidewinder verses an 850. What I saw, was a 165 hp two smoke running neck on neck with a four smoke 200hp sled for 1/4 mile. As I said, IMO, the two smokes are geared for 90 - 100 mph and the big 4 smoke geared for the lake, they run with the 800/850 in acceleration by shear horsepower. I'm riding a new XCR 800 and its extremely quick, not fast, as factory set up, no lake racer, but it will run with the biggest to 90 mph, after that I'm out. So Charlie will be fast on the lake for sure with the SW. Myself I would take the lightweight 850 over the SW.....but I ride with the women....
  20. Stevie, I forgot to mention, in the top left pocket of the Puzzle Yellow Belt special jacket is a folded up centerfold of the 81 MX Lizzard long travel from my Snow Goer collection, you may find a few tissue papers too......just throw them out, I don't need them back...
  21. You are welcome Stevie.....no worries on the Puzzle shat issue.....depends undergarments save the day...
