Potentially a dumb question.
My 08 d7 right hand grip doesn't work/heat up. I am not getting any ohms of resistance on the plug. Is there a simple fix or do I have to rip the grips off and get new ones?
-
I had to replace two bearings in the DD of 07 cf600. I got super lucky and had a new bdx bearing from my 09 m8 I used to have and it was one of the ones I needed and then other was a stock bearing I had at work. So no money out other than for a gasket which was $15. All back together with some fresh fluid.
Thanks to @f7ben for the guidance and patience to answer all my questions!

LOL, I did. Thought I would probably keep it this year too but I've got this money burning a hole in my pocket.
Lol. I am a polaris guy but your CFR is super nice. Probably one of the best colour/graphic schemes the older ones came with.

Ahhh thanks!

Lol. Well I get that. But I thought you just picked that one up last year?

The ls7 is a 7.0l 427ci. He said that was a 358 ci?

I wanna go pickup a leftover 18 Assault but I'm still waiting on the tank replacement for this fucking Arctic Cat!
How come you are looking to dump the ditch pickle?

No.
If anybody tells you yes, tell them to show you hard proof. Not what some marketing garbage says.
That is fantastic. Thank you.
Is there a difference between semi syn and syn blend?
-
So is there any reason for me to be spending $45/gallon on interceptor vs $40/1.3 gallons of mystik sea and snow?
The sleds if lucky will see 2000 kms this year
-
Maybe someone can chime in on oils here.
So do I need full synthetic for a 08 700 cfi (stock) and a 07 600 EFI cat (stock)?
I found an amsoil guy out here that will sell me interceptor at $45 (cad) a gallon. But I believe interceptor is a blend, not a full syn.
-
So I just looked. The mystic isn't on sale out here. Only the 1qt jugs of full syn are on sale in Ontario. They are 11.99 instead of 14.99.

Hey, Tomas. Just got back from CDN Tire and seen Mystic is on sale for 50% off. I also noticed Royal Purple and I believe Shell were also on sale. Tempted myself to grab a jug of Mystic but I still have 1 and 1/2 jugs of Shell left. I assume the sale would be the same out your way, but I am unsure?
The mystic on sale out here was only the synthetic blend. I will double check though. Thanks!

I've been using Shell semi in my old 95 XLT now for quite a few years and it has been a good oil. Mind you, my XLT has no power valves, etc, so not a lot of concern on my end?
CDN Tire usually puts both on sale, Shell and Mystic, and that is when I purchase mine. Not a chance in hell I am paying $55 and $65 for Mystic and Shell full syn!
Ya I don't want to pay those prices either.
I am pretty sure with my sleds having exhaust valves I need to run full synthetic?
I will be watching for sales. The cheapest I found was a new royal purple full syn 2 stroke at $50 from Canadian Tire.

I have talked to some oil reps and this OEM "better use our oil" shit is a bunch of bs they use to bend you over on $50/gallon for oil. This is what I will be using from now on. $22.00 at Farm and Fleet.
I am a little jealous. That up here in nookland Alberta is $54. I checked mystics site and they do not have a dealer in Canada. The price listed on their website converts to only $34 cad. We are getting ripped off.
I bought what I thought was a full synthetic oil last year but i just found out that it was only synthetic blend. I had to go and check and in the print on the back says "blend". So now I am worried about running what I have left in my 07 cfr 600 and 08 Polaris 700 cfi.
I have been shopping around on the internet tonight and cannot seem to find "full" synthetic 2 stroke oil up here for less than $54(cad) per gallon. If someone in Canada has an in on decently priced oil, please let me know lol.
I remember buying Shell Snow Ultra for $36(cad)/1gal. I am blown away how expensive this shit has gotten.

I grew up on Georgian Bay bass. Small/large mouth. Absolutely amazing if caught before mid August. Then the water gets to warm and they get worms like someone already mentioned. Best is in chunks, pan fried with fish crisp.
For about 15 years, every Friday night till Sunday evening from May long to thanksgiving was spent on the water. We had a boat big enough and equiped enough that we didn't have to touch land other than to hike or take the dogs to do their business. I think I may have only been skunked 5 times in all those years for bass.
That is probably the biggest let down about Alberta. The fishing is shit lol.
Unfortunately I don't hunt as I am surrounded by deer. At one point in time there was more deer shit in my yard than dog shit. Which is pretty impressive considering the amount that comes out of my dogs lol.

Don’t underestimate the Analer appetite.
These two are in Hamilton Ontario. So only a 7 hour drive from Chicago. Our poutine reserves might be able to handle Anler on this short of trip.

To be fully honest if this were the case I’d ride shotgun with him.
I googled how long it would it would take to go from Chicago to Edmonton and I am not 100% there is enough poutine in all of Quebec to make that 50 hour trip lmao

Fatty won’t drive to Michigan for a sled and his state borders it, no way he leaves the country for one unless there’s some all you can eat poutine involved.
Lmao. Well there is lots of poutine.....

Did you look at any of the ones I posted or is nookland too much of a hassle?

I loved the general grabber at/2's. They had minimal road noise (that I noticed), awesome in the snow, and when I bought them they were decently priced.
