They sure have come a long way in the last 10 years as far as the body "lines" go. Pretty much anything they can dream up in CAD is dooable now. I have been sledding long enough to remember when the "hood " had to be a straight line or they wouldn't fit right. Something to do with the material they used to make them out of I was told. I do miss the old days of a real hood when it comes to working on them. You can't access much from the side panels these days, oil + coolant, even the belt change is a serious PIA with the amount of room.

Not worried at all, 4 year warranty on the new 2018 850's. Nothing wrong with last GEN XRS, great machine handles amazing and takes all manner of trail junk. Easily the best ski-doo I have owned in 15 years. They just keep getting better!
