  1. ooh, i almost forgot, FULLY semi automatics
  2. woohoo! JK, as much as i cant stand them or their nut swingers, ANY losses from our sport are bad in the long run. now, if yamaha could step away and maybe Rupp came back, that would be a good swap
  3. yep, they are scary, but the terms assault weapon, weapons of war, ghost gun, etc are for scaring the people not firmly set on either side of the topic into voting one way.
  4. and yet, AR15's are what the politicians focus all of their time trying to ban. sorry, "weapons of war!"
  5. Some people are just more recoil sensitive than others. The current best shooter in my group hates recoil, and shoots a .243 because of that. I shoot a consistent 1 moa with the winny, but recoil has never bothered me.
  6. Agreed, but when im fishing in bear country, i carry. Ive accidentally been between a mom and cubs 9nce, and its not a pleasant feeling
  7. And that's great. Im personally happy that steve lives somewhere that daily carry isn't needed
  8. The razor 6-36 is likely going to be my choice for a mile. Im a huge vortex fan
  9. Currently 300 winmag but im building a 7mm PRC for the 1 mile stuff
  10. Is anyone here involved in long range shooting? I started at 1000 yards last year and im hooked. We're moving it out to 1 mile soon.
  11. not at all. we generally use canada as an example of what can happen if you dont stand up for your rights. yes, i realize it's not actually a right there, but you get my meaning
  12. Well, the current weapons list Trudeau is pushing, makes no distinction for who can have them. Banned is banned
  13. Since when does the atf concern themselves with being legal?
  14. They already are. There are single shot hunting rifles on the current list of guns they're trying to ban.
  15. But what do you actually think qualifies as a ghost gun? Especially how they differ for us vs you guys, as im sure your laws in terms of making your own guns are extremely restrictive.
  16. Because thats how the algorithms work. The news feeds and information you see on Facebook, twitter, youtube or even just google, are all based off what they track you watching most. You dont even have to click on a link, they track how long you look at the links as you scroll through. The "random" links that you see will be drastically different than mine.
  17. Edit, i guess i should add dishonest politicians to that statement also. When they, right up to the president, flat out lie about the topic, that doesn't help anyone.
  18. Im curious steve, we were talking about this at last nights show. For you Canadians, how does the media portray or push the "ghost gun" topic?
  19. It is out there, but social media feeds people strictly what they want to hear through algorithms. So you will likely never see a report showing a definsive gun use case, i had one pop up in my feed this morning. Again, dishonest and manipulative media.
