Duh, what kind of, duh can duh...
There was a sp500 can for sale here in the fall for $50. I almost bought it just to flip to some retard that waits til there's snow to decide he wants a can for better mad wheelie clips.

23 cats no gray
Cat 600 and 800 are great. The 600 dynod higher than skidoo and Polaris. And the skidoo and Polaris had to build larger engines to compete with cats 800 and still sometimes lose.

I do have their can. I was talking about expansion chambers when you quoted me.

Taiga in production
I've been riding a lot the last 3 weekends and haven't put 80 miles on total. Nothing is right for everyone but things still have their place. I have been thinking recently when I've been riding around the woods how nice it would be to be quiet, and just sit down and go.

Yeah, stick sounds good to me. Just fine. It is a bummer it's so heavy. The expansion chamber is pretty heavy too. I've considered getting an aftermarket one just for the weight saving

Vast majority of snowmobilers on the FB groups are low IQ.

FB humor season is back!!!
Well that's the other thing. They don't make anything right now that I'd want to replace it with. I like the sled.

Anyone want to be a SX hero for a day?
Quite a generous offer by Tom, that's cool

I've thought about selling my high country and replacing it when the market corrects, or buy a new replacement. But I'd probably buy a few old turds in that timespan band lose the space

Buying used sled with bill of sale only
Maybe I'll look at the sled in question after the holidays. There's a 92 440 panther in the cities on marketplace with a rack and reverse (RR??) Looks mint says it doesn't run right. Easy fix, you should buy it $550obo

Buying used sled with bill of sale only
It's stupid. Like, I'm trying to give you my money. Government go figure. I like to just be legal for less to worry about. But if they won't take my money, I could always buy duplicate stickers for one of the other sleds I do register and put them on the unregisterable sled. I think it's 5 or 6 bucks for some duplicates. But it would be more of a pain in the ass when I do go to sell it.

Buying used sled with bill of sale only
Selling is not a problem and bill of sale isn't a problem. But for the buyer registering it.. if the seller name on bill of sale doesn't match who it was last registered to (in MN), they are not supposed to let you put in your name and then you're stuck with a sled you can't register. This is regardless if it's stolen or not.

2023 Snowmobile Industry Predictions
The Suzuki 800 ho was not the holy grail you seem to think. It was fairly reliable but it's power was not very good and driveability and dirtyness down low/midrange was likely worst in class.. not just in emissions but in the ride experience, dirty down low and not very good power until you are wide open. The ctec is a way better engine. I don't miss the Suzuki 800 ho at all. Way better dirty Suzuki engines out there than the 800 if you're going to play that game. And the ctec is the most reliable current 800, despite you constantly dogging it. As far as herfs sled, I didn't look at chassis too much with those twin pipes staring at me. Think of the wheelies.. but I'm sure it's lighter and better, it is a factory race machine.

2023 Snowmobile Industry Predictions
Just a new seat with a different shape and different foam would help out alot. I don't believe they need a bigger bore. But for your argument sake, did Polaris and skidoo have Suzuki reliability when they went larger? Rhetorical question, I know the answer, you don't have to humiliate yourself. If people or cat actually cared about shedding a few pounds they could easily remove 24 pounds by taking off electric start. It would also give a smaller MSRP. With that said I don't think the weight difference is that much if I remember right from the shootout. With cat being such a more durable sled, any further weight drop may possibly come at the cost of durability. Unless they can find a way to make the hood and headlight lighter.. it seems way heavier than necessary and that is weight that is high up and over the front. Maybe going to the blast/SX good could shed a couple. I personally don't see the fascination with those hoods like some of you hibberts.

What good is the internet if not for talking shit?

Skidoo two strokes have no pull start
I'm not the least but embarrassed that I didn't know this till now. Why would I? If nothing else it's confirmation to keep not paying attention to skidoo. What a joke of a company and riders.

2023 Snowmobile Industry Predictions
I'd be surprised if cat introduced a new chassis right now with the parts availability problems that is happening. I haven't heard anything from cat either that anything is on the way. They maxed out on most models for ordering so they prob don't have urgency to do that anyway.

Buying used sled with bill of sale only
Could be a trainwreck. I'm not set to buy this sled but there is one 10 minutes from me but he never registered it so I've been holding off on it. In my experience, they do not tell you who the previous owner is. They probably figure you would just make a fake bill of sale then. But it's dumb, as long as it's not marked stolen, I don't see why it has to be so difficult. I suspect my local license place lets things through. When I did the sled this summer, she was looking a little funny at the screen and asking me if I bought it out of state. I told her I didn't and she still pushed it through. That's why I wonder if I said yes, that would be the play. I did buy one out of wi last year so obviously they didn't have any history on that sled and it went fine. My buddies say that my local office is the one to go to. But it's still a gamble and I don't really want to end up with an unregisterable sled.

Buying used sled with bill of sale only
Seeing if anyone in MN has any tips or tricks for this. I've ran into problems with this before and have heard about problems from other guys with this. Scenario is buying a used machine from someone that owned it but never registered it in their name. It does have MN registration from another previous owner but current owner can't remember the name m My experience is that they usually want the seller's name to match who it was last registered to, otherwise they won't let you do it at all. So if you don't know the person's name who it was registered to, is there a good work around? I know bontz has said before you could register it in wi, even being a MN resident, and then transfer it back to MN. I'd rather not do that amount of hassle. I had one this year where I tried to transfer it in Mora thinking they'd do whatever but they turned me away because it didn't match up. I called the seller and he gave me a name of who he bought from and I useful that at my local DMV and it worked. I'm not sure if the names matched or if my local DMV is more lenient. I know they are pretty lenient though. I was wondering too if I could just say I bought it out of Wisconsin or Iowa or wherever. Even if it was registered here 10 years ago, that doesn't mean it didn't change hands and get registered out of state. Thoughts?

Skidoo two strokes have no pull start
Don't be stupid and weak. I said I don't know or care if it's old news. It's still a topic worth discussing and ridiculing. Yes guilty as charged I don't keep up with skidoo sleds, and this a perfect example of why I don't. Do they have heated cupholders too? I can't tell from under my rock oh wait I still don't care about those feminized sleds.

Skidoo two strokes have no pull start
I've heard of that. But that still gives you a pull rope. That's not what this guy has in the video. He has an estart-only two stroke because he's a bitch! I call dibs before @Sled_Hed

Skidoo two strokes have no pull start
Two strokes are so easy to start it's hard to believe anyone that cares about performance would want the weight penalty of the button, for such an easy task. But to not even give you the pull rope at all.. that's some skidoo shit that I don't want to understand. Beyond weak.

Skidoo two strokes have no pull start
- Skidoo two strokes have no pull start
Maybe this is old news, I don't know or care A skidoo 800 etec two stroke doesn't have a pull start. I guess 20k only gets you so much and a rope might interfere with the fit and finish of the piece of garbage that can't start and it might interfere with the rider's balls dropping. This is what's wrong with Canada.- FB humor season is back!!!
I don't know if I'm ready for that yet - Skidoo two strokes have no pull start
