  1. Correction. There's three threads and two of them are bitching about more sub forums. So there's one Arctic Cat thread. Total. F7
  2. Firecats don't need their own forum with twin spar. That's just weird. There's like 3 threads in all of Arctic cat and you guys want it split up? Is it that hard looking at all three threads on the same page?
  3. Why, for triggering you snowflakes?
  4. Fear mongering is the betas like you who think you need a vaccine
  5. You can watch them race at usxc races if they happen this year. The r-xc is not made for drag racing anyway.
  6. I heard it was grass. And break in modes. Cool shootout
  7. I mean I didn't know if he was serious about the fuck you all part
  8. I'm not a fan of making excuses because something *doesn't have e start. It *shouldn't have e start. It's not my fault all those other sleds are made for fat lazy bastards than can't pull a cord. Also the r xc is a consumer model.
  9. Maybe around 180-200. Not much reason to do any more for me. Most days are around 100 if we're going out for a good ride somewhere. My funnest days are off trail and mileage is probably a fraction of that. If the itch ain't scratched in 100 miles then I'm doing it wrong. Not much into riding for the sake of riding. We ride wooded trails that are narrow and twisty and turny. Most are beat after a day of trying to keep up.
  10. Or, parents can do a better job with their kids. Kids shouldn't be going to college unless they have a career in mind that requires it. Most don't when they're 17 years old and making this decision so they go to college anyway because they get herded into it and it buys them four years to figure it out/put it off. If more kids would take a year or two off after high school, work whatever job they've been doing, get some life experience, most all would find out a path they can take that doesn't require a 100k piece of paper and 4 years of lost income. But we don't talk about these things my bad. These poor kids and their unfair debt! There how is that?
  11. My 05 zr 900 I've seen 112 on gps on a road and then the belt exploded, it had more power but I think it was out of gear! On trail is a little less but mid 100's was the norm when I used to care and would check. I think it gives up a little top end to the 03 but not enough where you'd ever know unless you line up two at the same time. I like the 05 better for the trail riding I do. Handles better and chassis feels tighter. I've rode back to back on trail mine and a buddies 03. One thing to keep in mind is a fast straight line setup makes a shitty trail setup and vice versa. With two adjustments I can make my sled dangle the skis all the way and by doing that it'll charge past 100. But it sucks on the trail if you ride aggressive. If you make it so you have lots of ski pressure, it really slows it down where it'll struggle to hit 100. Just from a small setup change all else being equal. So you have to pick what you actually care about doing. I drag race about .001% of my ride time and would much rather enjoy the handling on the trail instead of fight it.
  12. Is there a "new posts" button in this shit hole?
  13. I wasn't sure if stevem was serious about that post where he said he's not a mod anymore and fuck you all. I find it pathetic if any adult is upset about losing moderator status on an internet forum. And, why was he mad at anyone here about it anyway? Weird.
  14. What studs did it have? I heard the Polaris had chisels. As you can see it was matching Polaris speed, even down 50cc. In 1320 it would have freight trained the Polaris, it was clearly coming.
  15. 400 Blast? Is that a hint that there's another Blast coming? Possibly the 888cc triple two stroke Blast? That's the rumor going around in TRF anyway.
  16. I listened to a podcast in the spring around the time shit was hitting the fan. It was with an expert on this kind of stuff. He said the way this is being tested is extremely bad. I don't remember all the specifics but it was something like the threshold for positive is way too sensitive. He said the normal standard for virus testing is 30, I don't remember the units of 30 if that is ppm, microns, or whatever, I don't remember. But he said 30 is the standard, and we are testing for this virus to 10, not 30. And apparently this is extremely suspect and is not done this way for some very good reasons. You can apparently have these kinds of viruses at small amounts and not actually be considered sick. That's why all these people with no symptoms are testing positive. A positive test under this criteria doesn't necessarily mean you are considered sick or contagious and shouldn't be a positive, that's why it is set at 30 for everything else. He said many people carry different viruses at these levels all the time and they are always there at these minor levels. This guy was a an expert on this topic it wasn't BS. Should be no surprise to anyone though. Alot of people wanted this and alot of people are getting more rich from this, and it worked out politically for alot of people.
  17. I just thought it was funny because of all the talk of cat needing a lighter chassis, and here it is the lightest sled weighed. Yep it's grossly overweight and absolutely needs to shed pounds. I read it on the internet.. So even with e start it would still be lighter than skidoo and within a couple pounds of Polaris.
  18. Surprised on the weights, the cat 600 is the lightest of them all. The skidoo 850 is about 20# lighter than the skidoo 600?
  19. It took a while of circling the drain to get lower in the shit hole
  20. I think they're pretty reliable. I have a sled apart right now that's getting chain case parts for a broken gear. There are more moving parts in a diamond drive but I've owned multiple of them and still own one, have had buddies with them and still have them. There's been no issues. The diamond drive has been more reliable than the chain case and tcl systems on the 2012+ chassis.
  21. Past or present, post a snowmobile related picture that you like for whatever reason
