  1. Huh, ok. I took off 40# from my sled and it's an obvious difference. But whatever. I said my feelings in that topic and knew it'd be a shitshow in the wake so I stopped going back there before I get death threats
  2. I haven't wasted time on that team since the game after the Minneapolis miracle. But I love to tune into the radio post game show to hear the fans call in and melt down. The inner troll in me loves that shit.
  3. I'm pretty sure most people could tell a handling difference in their machine if you ratchet strapped a 50 lb sand bag to the hood. I would hope so anyway.
  4. I'm not sure how long the shot lasts for. It maybe wouldn't make it through the bar stops. And that would be a problem. I liked it when the ambassadors would say the implements are "like a dirt bike"
  5. Skis off the ground for the maximum fun factors
  6. Yes you could throw that in. It is an innovation although it's not a game changer to me. I guess I was thinking of innovations that are game changers. Do they put the shot on trail sleds? I thought it was more for mountain machines. You still have to pull the evil rope in the morning when it's the hardest to pull.
  7. Alpha mono rail. If r motion was ten years ago you could throw that in. Those are really the only things I can think of in the last ten years that are truly innovative.
  8. This guy has his priorities in order. Faded sled broken hood seat fucked no snowflap. But he's got the underglow so it's bad ass.
  9. I think you're dumb as fuck. If you want electric start on your modern two stroke that starts incredibly easy, I'm fine with that, what do I care if you're old/fat/lazy/weak/whatever. I just find it so funny how people like to talk about weight with sleds, which I have heard plenty from your type. And having race inspired sleds, and shocks. And short ass windshields to look all aggressive and extreme. And performance this and that. And then throw on 25# of mandatory useless weight. It just proves most people are frauds that just want the image or perception of performance. Why do you think mountain machines don't have electric start standard and that no serious off trail rider would ever put it on? Not talking about hot shot. If you don't think 25# is alot, what is? Would 100# be? Precisely at what point do the added pounds mean something to almighty bontz? 50? 75? 100? When does it become relevant to you? Whatever weight you think is relevant, that's only 25# away from a weight you don't think is relevant.. But you say you can't tell 25#... If you're balking at 25#, which is 5% of a machine, you don't really have business talking about performance machines. When you're trying to make a lightweight machine you remove weight from every where possible. Little savings on their own may not change much and if you look at it on it's own you can easily justify not removing X. That's how losers think. If you do enough of those minor things, pretty soon you have a substantial amount of weight from all these seemingly insignificant things. I've done it. And with that said 25# is fucking huge weight drop all on it's own, we're not even talking about minor savings with e start so I don't know why I bother with you here. I've gone to great lengths to shave very minor weight on CARS.. people like you think it's crazy. Until it goes on the scale and all those little things add up. It just comes down to a mindset. Mountain bike guys chase GRAMS. If you don't have the mindset that's ok. But it's funny hearing your type talk about weights of machines then.. And really it's just about the pussification of riders. No, I don't think people that pull a rope are tough, to me that is just standard stuff, part of riding a snowmobile. It's just super weak to have a supposedly performance machine with a bunch of weight added on for no reason. Anyone that actually does care about performance should agree. Also the customer is forced into buying it. We all bitch about prices but then we have you boomers cucking for the oems, how much is a battery a starter all the wiring and relays. Also there is future required maintenance costs involved. All just so some weakling rider can spare his weak shoulders while riding a sled marketed as this badass performance machine. The whole thing is a fraud. The machine and the rider that has your view. I don't agree with cat doing it either. I've railed on them plenty for it. But at least they give you a rope and aren't completely telling the rider we think you're a bitch. That's really what it comes down to plain and simple.
  10. Electric snowmobiles are in their infancy. Like everything else in the tech world it will get better. Think of what a cellphone was 20 years ago compared to today.
  11. I've been trapping my line is about 9 miles long but lots of seat time. I'm not upset, miles don't mean much to me. I haven't been talking about riding so not sure what you mean. I have been riding how about you?
  12. Maybe not to you.
  13. You commented on motors, I reply easily proving you stupid, then you move the goalposts and talk about a mud drag race. Nice deflection did you learn that from CNN? It looks like those two 600cc machines split wins anyway. And the cat is cheaper, turns better, looks better, is American made, and wins more. But whatever makes you feel better Badger.
  14. There was a sp500 can for sale here in the fall for $50. I almost bought it just to flip to some retard that waits til there's snow to decide he wants a can for better mad wheelie clips.
  15. Cat 600 and 800 are great. The 600 dynod higher than skidoo and Polaris. And the skidoo and Polaris had to build larger engines to compete with cats 800 and still sometimes lose.
  16. I do have their can. I was talking about expansion chambers when you quoted me.
  17. I've been riding a lot the last 3 weekends and haven't put 80 miles on total. Nothing is right for everyone but things still have their place. I have been thinking recently when I've been riding around the woods how nice it would be to be quiet, and just sit down and go.
  18. Yeah, stick sounds good to me. Just fine. It is a bummer it's so heavy. The expansion chamber is pretty heavy too. I've considered getting an aftermarket one just for the weight saving
  19. Vast majority of snowmobilers on the FB groups are low IQ.
  20. Well that's the other thing. They don't make anything right now that I'd want to replace it with. I like the sled.
  21. Quite a generous offer by Tom, that's cool
  22. I've thought about selling my high country and replacing it when the market corrects, or buy a new replacement. But I'd probably buy a few old turds in that timespan band lose the space
  23. Maybe I'll look at the sled in question after the holidays. There's a 92 440 panther in the cities on marketplace with a rack and reverse (RR??) Looks mint says it doesn't run right. Easy fix, you should buy it $550obo
  24. It's stupid. Like, I'm trying to give you my money. Government go figure. I like to just be legal for less to worry about. But if they won't take my money, I could always buy duplicate stickers for one of the other sleds I do register and put them on the unregisterable sled. I think it's 5 or 6 bucks for some duplicates. But it would be more of a pain in the ass when I do go to sell it.
