CBC's TV Ads and Canada's 150 Celebration
The CBC has rolled out the advertising in advance of next year's "party". Watching them, you'd wonder how far we would've got w/o the CBC. One ad is really heart warming. The speaker is a female CBC reporter who's family is Christian & Muslim. She's Christian and her wife is a Muslim. I feel so much better knowing that.

Should Wynne Step Down
Lots of coverage of this on CTV's chain of stations. I hope people are getting the message. http://www.canadianmanufacturing.com/manufacturing/torontos-leland-industries-cites-high-energy-cost-move-u-s-180941/ The governor of Illinois should send a thank you note to Seabiscuit. For states that are close to Ontario, she's is their best economic development program.

Justin Trudeau is Doing a Great Job
His explanations in the House more or less got laughed @. I can't imagine anyone paying to listen to him speak. Can you see him reading Green Eggs & Ham? If anyone thinks this is on the up & up they're a moron. To paraphase him, "Canada is back" I think it should be "The Chretien Liberals are back". Don't give the dumbass any ideas! Maybe he can mention their pollution problems when he brings up the topic of human rights?

Any builders...insulation and shower surround question
I'm no expert when it comes to insulation, but when I was doing the "attic" above my workshop, I was told to add rafter vents to keep the soffit clear of insulation: https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.raft-r-mate-attic-rafter-vents---rigid-extruded-polystyrene.1000503435.html The ones that I used were wider than those pictured & were stapled to the underneath the rafter.

It has begun
Reminds me of the teen that was killed several years ago in Huronia. He had gone out for a ride after school and the trail was fine. After supper while leading his father on a ride on the same trail, he collided w/ a tree that had fallen across the trail.

*** OFFICIAL FS Ontario Vintage Sled Thread ***
Thanks. Had to patch the last 8 or so inches of the tunnel top. New seat cover & plywood too. The rest was mostly just sand & paint. I had the welder @ work fix some minor cracks in the muffler. I wish I knew what he used because you'd be hard-pressed to find his work after he cleaned up the welds.. He said it was a low temp rod (what ever that is).

LOL No need to, I have enough stuff filling up the shed and garage. I've seen a couple of them for sale the last couple of years. Saw 1 a year ago in Maine that looked in really good shape for a 20 year old sled.
