That looks awesome. Looks like a lot of great natural terrain for hills and jumps. One of the best tracks I ever rode was laid out in a horse and donkey pasture where the natural terrain was perfect and the animals kept the weeds down

That sounds just like what happened with me. Saved up money, then one day we were looking at used minibikes. By the end of the day we had a brand new honda xr80 $680 dollars out the door, I was 9. It took me 2 weeks before I learned how to shift.

Very nice track you have. We have a lot of good ones within 2 hours of me, but sometimes you can have a lot of fun on the local private tracks with about 5 good buddies.

Yeah, it really takes a lot of dirt to make good, safe jumps. I would hate to have that jump on my property. Fun if you hit it good, but bad if you crash. I try to make all my landings super big and super long and not many sharp edges, but that takes a lot of dirt. On mine the biggest danger is casing a jump then hitting a tree.

Don't worry, it will get way out of hand. Mine runs about 1:10 to 1:20 lap times and that picture only shows about a 100 foot section. Most is in the woods and hard to see from the air.

I figured he just wanted a small private back yard track. That's all we have. To much work involved for a REAL track, then you have to deal with the trailers, people you don't know, etc.

Let's put it this way. I drive a MX bike around a track. I can make triples into doubles and doubles into singles. LOL

Those are only about 5 acre tracks. Takes about that to run lap times around a minute.

I got one at my place and like highmark said, you will be moving an unbelievable amount of dirt. Make sure you have the ability to do that and have some place with easy access to it. Remember when building it, that A. Know where the sun will be at all times. B. Know where water sits and where it will get dusty and plan for that C. Remember your neighbors, regarding noise and dust.
