  1. I use a raspberry pi loaded with OSMC to run Kodi on it. Works pretty good and the hardware is cheap. It's not 4K compatible, but I think that 4K is more hype than anything.
  2. The treatment processes have evolved a fair bit. We are seeing a lot of membrane systems now instead of traditional media filters. The control used on theose membrane skids is pretty extensive. Way more I/O then I would have ever guessed would be on one anyway. Same thing for U/V trains in the bigger plants. All of it has their own stand alone proprietary controllers and then tie into the overall plant process control via some kind of network.
  3. The control systems they use have come a long way since dry contacts and autodialers. Although sometimes simpler is better.

That stuff kind of works, but it's the dumbed down version for urbanites. Par 3 is the good stuff, but you are supposed to be a farmer to buy it. When we get it here, you have to supply a land location.
  5. Well post up another story about you driving away with the gas pump filler hose still in your car. Then they can bust your nuts instead of website gossiping.
  6. I never paid attention to 98% of the political threads you posted in before. I still don't You mad someone posted up you Nazi photchop again? Not #1. Definitely top 5 though.
  7. Same could be said for here. Over time it will be interesting to see which site stays active.
  8. Rob has nothing to do with it at this point. They were told many times to start up TBP again, so they did. Now it has more to do with not having a few people over there chumming the water. It's too bad that it happened that way. Spreading members over both sites takes away from the entertainment.
