The new package made for a pretty good race last night.

Our dog almost always shits on the north / south axis. Nicole and I often laugh about it when we notice her getting in to the proper alignment.

The cooler temps here have made me a pussy when it comes to the heat. When friends come up from NH during the summer they are reaching for a sweatshirt in the evening when it cools off. It feels great to us in our t shirts.

Fuck that shit. 89 is the highest temp my weather station has recorded in the 6 years that we've been here.

Last fall Paul's son nailed one with his bow. It went in under the small cabin and Zach couldn't see it under there when he looked. When they came up a few weeks latter they found where a fox or coyote dug under the building to get it out.

Today turned out to be a beautiful day here. It was mostly sunny with one small shower this afternoon that didn't even wet the deck. We ended up with a high of 70°.

The neighbors were over visiting earlier when we noticed the groundhog that Paul had been after was out eating on his lawn. All I had was some bird shot for my 12 gauge.He was able to sneak up on it and nailed it. One less groundhog to worry about in the neighborhood

Good morning John. Do you have wild blueberries near the cabin. As a kid I remember picking blueberries at the lake for my great grandmother to make blueberry cupcakes (not muffins) they were so freaking good!

@Shifty did a lot of ridding from home this year. His pics looked like the trails were fantastic! Worst case is that you hop on the interstate and trailer a half an hour north to the good snow. If you are looking for good snow and low taxes then Clarksville would be a good option. But you would need to travel to get to the stores

That entire area is beautiful. The other nice thing about is that the majority of the tourists don't go near there
