sorry for my rant. Dave wanted me to side with him with his fight with Jim. Remember when Dave started his own Nascar thread? He wanted me to stop posting in Jim's thread and post in his. When I told him that I wasn't picking sides he got pissed. He settled down for a while, but it's obviously been eating at him.

That's all well and good Ron. Let me give you guys a little backstory on this mess. I don't get in to politics. I enjoy coming here and busting chops in the general forum threads. The two of them were both a big part of that. When they started fighting it wasn't fun for me to even come to my own site so I asked them both to cut the shit. What goes on between Jim and anyone else here isn't my concern. Even though I like Jim and consider him a friend I m not siding with him in this. This all boils down to me not siding with Dave. I told them both that I wasn't picking sides and it pissed Dave off. That's the fucking story. It's fucking stupid that we are even here discussing it.

I think I have earned the respect from a majority of the members here that I don't have to take shots like that if I don't want to.

As I would expect you to. Yes, I asked you to leave him alone and I asked Jim to leave you alone. Yes, at one point when I was trying to calm things down between the two of you Jim had enough of you and told me that he would see me on instagram. No, I didn't want that to happen. But I didn't ask anyone else to leave him alone. It's not like you don't have a history of hounding guys until they get sick of you and move on. I could be wrong, but I think @SVT Renegade XRS long absence around here was probably due to you hounding him.

They don't call them river rats for nothing A lot of guys are also snowboard bums in the winter. The festivals that I've been to are a blast and a little milder than the ones he described, but I've heard simialar stories from guys that attended the Moose and Gauly.

Have you run any of the rivers in Maine? The guy that used to paddle for us loved smooth ledge on the Rapid River for play boating. Tons of steep creeks in ME and NH if that's your thing. I grew up on Cold Brook in Tamworth, NH. I never would have believed guys would be running it in a kayak. I think it's just under 300' drop per mile. Mostly smooth granite chutes.
