And where are those 800 numbers pertaining to the actual discussion ? Nice cherry pick to fit your agenda..
  8. Am I gettin' to ya Puzzle?
  9. Review 04NF post regarding 2k in belts!
  10. Why don't you go Google "850 drive belt" and then come back and tell everyone who is going to have the highest belt sales. Hey, they're the market leader you know..
  11. foot wells, toeholds, recoil, sec clutch float kit, skidooz got your wallet in the their sights. Only skidoo calls these items "accessories"
  12. What im saying as Doos cost more in the first place then you still have to finish building the sled after purchase with "accessories" Why don't you share the cost of the Doo belt with the class to make your argument?
  13. Did you not just recently claim that the 1200 has nearly 800 performance all while using less fuel??? A 140hp 800 Polaris should be no contest for you.
  14. Wow. Says the Doo guy, pot meet kettle.. Doos nowadays don't even come with foot wells or a recoil!
  15. I'm sure they are Tommy, and I'm by no means saying that the polaris belt is not good. Let's say after a few years of using Gates belts over many thousands of miles that in my opinion they deliver better value than the OEM Polaris 115 or 117 respectively.

It's a Doo thing irv, poor tank design. I have noticed a few Polaris guys want to join in on the fun too but personally I have no issue getting mine filled while seated on the machine with no moving, bouncing, or throwing around of the machine required.
  17. Yes when I had wedge Indys and even Edge XC sleds the OEM belts were around $80
  18. Ah this is mountain riding. That makes it more believeable. Prob tons of heat.
  19. Yes I bought the one I have used. They are way expensive new that's why I went with the PA as my second one. It was on sale for a good price. It really is a good lift for the money.
  20. Wow Irv that is good and more in line with what a belt should cost. I think the other manus just might be making a little extra profit on belts..
  21. It does seem to be a lofty claim, for me that would be installing a new belt every ride and at times 2 belts per ride.
  22. Irv is that a OEM Yamaha belt for that price?
  23. Yes that's exactly what seems to be the case. I will have to grease it. I also have a ho made Mar lift copy with a cable winch. That one works great but do have to swap the cable every few years.
