  1. I do like how the interviewer said that Mueller hasn't found any collusion. That has to sting a few around here.
  2. 16,000 passenger vehicles per day. 3000 pedestrians. Very little commercial traffic. I've been to Tijuana a few times. That crossing is massive.
  3. Large corporate growers is definitely where this is headed. That and Coops.
  4. I crossed last week. And will cross again on Monday. I am way way closer to any boarder than you are.
  5. I read that article back in February. This industry is only 1 year old in Cali. Cali has made huge strides bringing illegal operations into compliance. It was estimated to take 5 years or more. This is progressing at a rapid pace.
  6. Well seeing how on Jan 1 2018 100% was black market I think we are seeing a serious decline. This decline will continue. Retail sales outlets are going up everywhere. Everyone is fighting for their share of the pie.
  7. As we continue to improve our ability to detect and confiscate illicit drugs at ports of entry the cartels will find other ways to get these drugs across and it will be between ports of entry.
  8. Almost all western states now have weed delivery services as part of their legal sales operation. This is all done legally, above the board. You order off their online menu just like you order pizza. Delivery is $5. You can tip the driver if you choose.
  9. Exactly. AFJ is completely wrong about this part.
  10. I propose that you may not know what quality weed is. There are very few black market growers in the western states. They have jumped on board and joined the legal coops. They had to to compete. I'm sure there will will be a market for illegally grown weed for a while but it will soon meet the same fate moonshiners did in the 30's and 40's.
  11. How about all the harder drugs? The ones that are much smaller and much easier to conceal? Weed is bulky and smelly and difficult to conceal. If hundreds of thousands of pounds of bulky pot is entering the US between ports of entry what makes you think thousands of pounds of much easier to conceal hard drugs are not coming across between ports of entry?
  12. It was legal to posses and consume. It was not legal to sell like it is now. The legal sale of pot has put the random grower completely out of business. The random grower has now become part of a Coop and sells his product to retail outlets for 1/3 of the street price of only 5 years ago.
  13. So back to my point. If we know that 450,000lbs of pot is coming into the USA between ports of entry how many pounds of the harder, much easier to conceal drugs are coming in. If it's easy to get 450,000lbs of bulky rag weed across our boarder wouldn't it even be easier to get massive quantities of fontanyl, heroin, cocaine, etc across the border between entry ports? If the delivery method is ATV,s 4x4's, dirt bikes, and SxS's then how is it that a more robust barrier on our border won't make a difference?
  14. No. Legalization and regulated grow operations have put the Russians out of the pot business in AK.
  15. Ok, lets diverge for a second and I will address your concerns. 1. Pot is now grown legally in almost all western states. 2. These grow operations are regulated and monitored by their respective states. 3. Retail sales outlets all across those states distribute the products grown by these cooperatives. 4. The products sold in those retail outlets are tested, there is a genetic lineage, the lineage is very precisely regulated/controlled by the individual growers. 5. Consumers frequent the retail outlets looking for specific strains of their favorite cannabis. They are presented with very precise information about the specific strain they are wanting to consume. Everything from the date of cultivation to THC to moisture content, to the strain, sativa, indica hybred, terpenes, mcm, etc. All of this information is presented to the consumer and allows them to make an informed decision ow what product they want to buy. 6. The products are cheap. Way cheap. $25% of what they cost 5 years ago when pot was not legally sold in retail stores. With all this decriminalization and regulation almost no one buys pot off the street any more. It just doesn't make sense unless you know one of the regulated growers. Why would anyone buy pot outside of a retail outlet? It's against the law. The product is shit. Info on the product is non existent. No one buys whisky from a bootlegger and no one will be buying pot from a random grower in the very near future. We do not know how the cartels are going to respond to this legal cannabis. Don't think for a second you know.
  16. Ok hold on. Lets not get ahead of ourselves here. Is my summation above correct or sort of correct or what did I assume incorrectly?
  17. OK good stuff. ATV's, Motorbikes, 4x4, Side by sides and ultralight aircraft's are used to get large quantities of bulky pot into the USA between ports of entry. Obviously these vehicles are crossing the border where there is no fence or wall or they wouldn't be able to get through. Passage is at least deterred by a fence or wall but maybe not prevented. Ultra light aircraft probably don't move huge quantities because of their limited capacity and very limited range. Fair to say or am I missing something?
  18. Ok good stuff. So based on those numbers and the 2018 numbers presented to Congress recently if 450,000 lbs of drugs were confiscate between ports of entry, the majority of it being pot, how did it get through. It didn't come by road because roads are ports of entry. How did it get here? Boat, Airplane, Humans, Packmules, other, how? I'm curious because I haven't seen this method of delivery discussed.
  19. I apologize if I misunderstood what you said/wrote. I was under the impression that you thought many tons of mexican pot made its way into the US. Maybe it does, I surely don't know the actual numbers because I don't think anyone knows the actual numbers. What I do know is that incredibly good pot is available for dirt cheap right here in the southern USA. I can't imagine anyone paying $20/oz for dirt weed when they can get premium bud for a little more than that. I wouldn't mind having a reasonable debate about how drugs get into our country. Lets use the numbers we have heard/read here over the last few days. About 450,000 lbs of illicit drugs are confiscated at ports of entry. Most of those drugs would be considered hard narcotics. About 450,000 lbs of illicit drugs are confiscated between ports of entry. Most of those drugs would not be considered hard narcotics. Is it fair to say my two statements above are the general consensus of whats been discussed here the last day or so?
  20. There is no question Rob outed you and said you had multiple dupe accounts. That is a fact. If your versions of those events is different I would like to hear them.
