How about you prove Rand Paul wrong?  This is the problem with people who have no critical thinking skills.  Just bouncing it back because it gives you cognitive dissonance.

Lots of big words doesn’t hide the fact that as with proving Rand Paul wrong, you simply can’t prove a negative. It’s the premis of our legal system, that being the accused being presumed innocent and the onus on the accuser to bring irrefutable evidence. Allegations and mere pieces of unauthenticated papers do not pass as real evidence.

  2. So who is Fauchi. Is he some kind of Super VIP??? Does he hold so much clout that neither Trump and his administration, or Biden’s administration are protecting him??? It just doesn’t make sense to me… How could the CIA and FBI, the NSC and DOJ of two administrations not be able to uncover what a simple FOIA allegedly exposed???  Maybe these are fabricated documents Paul is standing behind???  Prove me wrong. Just because something says what I want it to say doesn’t make it legitimate.

  3. Let me get this right, Trumps administration couldn’t get this for almost a year, but now these investigative reporters operating out of their basement have uncovered a treasure trove that the extreme right are glamming onto. They may be right, or they may be wrong. I need much more concrete evidence befor I build the hangman’s gallows.

  4. Whatever the origin or intended effect is fuck it. We need to get control over our future. Specifically in this case is computer chip production. We, the US NEEDS to be self sufficient, it way too critical to our nation security.

But even more important and on a personal note for myself, I want a new pickup next year. I’m looking at that Ford F-150 hybrid and the suspension in production due to supply chain issues sucks.

i pay 10k in property taxes and still was better off with the standard deduction as I don't have a big mortgage.   but i have dependents so the 24k worked fine.  for me the one spot that cost me money was unreimbursed business expenses.  we pay about half for our sales guys but they need to spend money to make money and can't write that off anymore.

Like I said, I was citing my personal circumstances. Others may be in different and I don’t begrudge them from voting what is in their best interest.

But I do stand by that Afghanistan will be a minuscule issue for the vast majority of voters come election time. Voters vote for what they believe is in the best interest of their pocketbook or wallet.

you would be a small minority then of those who paid more.    SUper high tax property tax states with big mortgages was about the only place that was happening.

Those two items, mortgage interest and property taxes are both in my category. I structured my debt to take advantage of those write offs since I’m older and have no dependents.

There are other sir circumstances affecting my next major decision, but in a nutshell I’m selling my larger than now needed house in the higher rent district (high property taxes) for a smaller home in an area with lower property tax rates. This is not a boo hoo cry me a river situation, I’m actually really excited about the change. The only drawback is I will be farther from family, especially grandkids.

Funny thing is, if that were true and the last election was truly legit ... how the fuck did Biden win?  Pretty sure everyone was doing pretty fucking good when that mean orange man was in office.  I agree with what you're saying, it's just funny how all people think about with Trump is how horrible he was behind a microphone or a Twitter account.  Our daily lives and I'll just say it ... our HOMELAND ... were doing pretty damn good, despite all the bullshit the MSM was laying on him.

I’m going to get personal here, your mileage may vary. I just did not trust Trump. I felt he was too cozy with big business and I took it that the rich would get richer and the working class as far as wages would stagnate. I am a middle class earner. His tax plan caused my taxes to go up by more than just a couple percent when I filed. His tax plan cut the legs out from under my itemized deductions. But like I sad, I’m only speaking for myself.
