what does this mean for the 2025 Snocross and Iron Dog sleds?

Didn't @ZR6000RR say they were hiring?

    :snack:

What does it mean for the greatest sled ever produced that's drive belt will last forever, is far superior to the Poo 650 in back to back test rides although neither sled was pushed past 50 mph.

first of all you really need to work on your quote replies being in the right part of the post and second of all there's too many Cat posts in the GDF so let's spice it up with some Polaris and SkiDoo garbage... which apparently Polaris is making in spades the past few years.  on the bright side, Polaris don't just tip over, which there'll never be a recall or stop ride for.

That's all you got, where I post my reply. You seem to have found it no problem. Cat is the only one with anything new coming out to talk about. New chassis and maybe new power plant next year. Thinking there's going to be many more Cat posts coming. Garbage, really, 95% market share between the two, sure that points to garbage. Ya, ok bud. Flame away.

This stuff is way old, leave it to the pro (Krom) for this kind of stuff. He's even posting his own brand now. looks to me like Poo over reacts to this stuff. My 23 Tundra has a recall for fuel leak which was notified to me months ago with no fix, no work around, no nothing other than keep driving it. Supposedly a work around fix is coming but they sure don't look to be in a hurry

    even VW has backed off

It looks to me like the folks who want the latest and greatest (perceived anyways) have bought in and the rest (majority) don't have any interest. At least not for the high cost to purchase, high maintenance cost, low range and 10 year life span on expensive batteries.

I was commenting more on the BRP, GM and Ford on fully committed to electric but not so much now. Just saying Toyota is holding back for a reason. The push for electrification is coming more from the governments and not the car makers. With Leadership about to change so likely will the hurry up to electrification. Didn't really look at why you posted what you did. My bad. And for the record I have no interest in electric cars, boats snowmobiles, etc.

boy, you sure Ramstad'd that reply...

Toyota has proven that hybrids flat out work.  Prius has been around for a long time as well as Lexus models, new Toyota trucks are hybrids.  no plugging in, no range anxiety... proven tech.

And hence my comment that Toyota has yet to jump on the electric band wagon. Why, when North American leadership will change (Biden and Trudeua gone) and the push for electric vehicles may die or slow to a crawl. Of course they make the best hybrids. I think you misinterpreted my reply. I have never called you names on here, and you insult me.

    Home charging

Each Taiga vehicle includes a Level 1 charging connector, capable of plugging into standard wall 110V outlets. To maximize the 6.6kW charging rate, we recommend installing a Level 2 charging solution.

Pro tip: You can share a universal Level 2 charging solution with other electric vehicles, such as a car or truck.

    Level 1 charging (residential)

    ~14 hrs

Level 2 charging (residential & commercial)

    ~3.5 hrs

    Level 3 charging

    ~40 mins

    https://www.taigamotors.com/en/snowmobiles/

which type of chargers are available along a route would make a significant difference in your charging times.  assuming the times listed are to fully charge from a near dead battery.

@Cwhite138 I can't find the picture atm but it's basically the electric motor turning a belt drive to the drive shaft (no jackshaft or clutches if my memory is correct).

much like EVs for the road I doubt we'll see mass adaptation anytime soon.  BRP not long ago seemed fully committed... but so did GM and Ford until recently.  ;)

hate to say it, but a 4S turbo is probably the most eco-friendly and practical option today... but that weight.  🤮

Not to mention that Toyota is dragging it's feet on electrification. Wait for the next 2 years when the Canadian and American government change leaders. The push may evaporate.

I just watched it. Bend and cut all there tubing. You said they dont. Internet jESUS was wrong, again. They may not stamp, but do form there tunnels. They even have welders, robots and produce there own seat covers. I'm done. Just finished up vacuum packing about 200 lbs of venison sausage. jESUS, grocery stores dont make meat. Just guessing you probably thought they did. Ate all New Yorkers as fucking stupid as you come across, with that great degree and all? Will read all about it tomorrow after work, I am guessing.

Before calling others stupid, you might want to clean up your own drivel before posting. Jus sayin

Wasn't sure turning it would give much more clearance, I will have a look see. Thanks  Sent my dealer a mail telling him to check these on pre-delivery. Might save a few pissed off customers.

Hey jimwit, wern't you just saying that these are the best sxs on the market?

Unfortunately the "update" doesn't actually fix the issue with the shifting mechanism, it just displays an "E" on the gauge if park doesn't engage in the trans when you put the shifter in park on the dash

EDIT: CPSC link shows AC built 7200 of all model utility sxs for 2022, and 2023 combined

Get ready for his deflect and spin to Poo, and of course your going to get some gnarly names flung at you

polaris been building them in mexico for awhile now.The reason i guess is that the sxs market in se part of country and mexico is huge part of their market and im sure cheaper to build!!As far as quality goes in assembly i just picked up at 23 1000 xp sportsman and found front radiator hose rubbing hard on front shock spring also have friend with and 850 same thing.found it after first time i cleaned it!loosened hose gave it a twist and it moved away from spring!!so who doesnt catch that at factory when installed?

They will have alot of them needing new hoses!!Reminds me of 22 sleds rubbing on starter bracket!!

I bought a 23 Sportsman 850 in July. Just went out and took a look see. There will be a recall coming for this. Just zip tied mine away from the spring to avoid the problem. When the recall comes I will take it in then
