Never been to Hurley but I gotta ask... What's scary about half naked whores?

Hurley is a bucket list item. If you're in the midwest its a must one time. Of course if you are over 35, its too late. It really is scary once you get old enough to use critical thinking skills....

My wife and I have never had O.G. Covid or any of its variants.  I work in hospitals 3 days a week on average so should be plenty of exposure.  I’m either lucky or my mask and vaccines are working.  Got a flu shot too for good measure.

My wife works in an ER, forced jab and flu jab. She had it during Thanksgiving.

I'll be honest though, Im not jabbed and had it worse than her.....

  3. Here's what I do, and this is just my opinions. If you disagree, Im good with that.

I dont fog anymore. I certainly dont think it hurts. But every time I take an engine apart, there is oil coated on pretty much everything, especially the crank bearings. There is always oil in the bottom.

I also dont start them during the off season (well sometimes after about 6 beers I do). My opinion on that is every time you start it you introduce moisture. A byproduct of combustion is water. And also IMO you cannot get an engine truly "good and hot" without building cylinder psi up. Idle or snapping the throttle doesn't build enough cylinder psi up to get it "good and hot" IMO.

So while I highly doubt you are doing any serious harm starting it in summer, I cannot see it doing any good either.

IDK, maybe Im just lazy...to lazy to pull start them anyway lol

  4. Just a FYI,

My trail sled has electric start, but the battery is dead. Has been for a couple years. The dead battery is still in the sled. Oh noes....

My mtn sleds get some unnecessary stuff removed to save weight. Oh noes....

I feel like I need that meme with the 2 red buttons no knowing which to push...lol

Starting to get a little more crabby not having my sled.  Was up by our place up Nth with a good 10" plus of snow on the ground.  If I would have had my new sled it would have been a nice break-in opportunity.  If I didn't see floor plan sleds at dealers with the very parts on that Snowcheck sleds are missing is aggravating.  The choice of what sleds get the limited supply parts is within Polaris's control and seeing floor plan sleds with these parts is not sitting well.  If I can by that floor plan sled now instead of waiting for my snowcheck why don't you send my sled and I'll take the parts off the floor plan sled to complete mine.

Snowcheck is going to be a question mark for me next year.  When I actually get my sled?  Will there be some programs offered for late deliveries in 2022?  Don't see Polaris coming out with anything really new other than a flatland turbo.  And there will be the price increase.

Ski-Doo also has customers waiting for sleds but seem to be doing a better job getting sleds out complete to customers.  Ski-Doo may expand on their smart suspension for 2023.

Arctic needs to go get out of the Ramsted thought process and come out with something new.  The SS 1969 Camaro was a great car but they didn't still make it in 1989 with minor tweaks along the way.  Rumor continues to come out that Arctic Cat has something new.  We use to have 3-4 diehard Arctic Cat guys in our club we're done to one that's look elsewhere.

Yamaha needs to get out of being an engine supplier and build a sled again.  They've had some good sleds in the past

What engines are they all supplying now? 998 turbo, what else? The 3 cylinder engine still around?

@Crnr2Crnr The ZR6000 Roger Skime was by far the best trail sled that I have ever been on. Out of the crate, the calibration was spot on. I had a slight amount of over-rev, and that was taken care of simply by a sticky Ultimax XS belt. The ONLY mod I made was adding a set of Ski-Doo Pilot skis and a set of 6" Shaper bars. I didn't need anything more aggressive to get it to handle perfectly. Perfect balance, perfect ride, perfect weight transfer, perfect power, perfect reliability. The Roger Skime is the pinnacle of Cat and the Procross chassis.

@Zambroski Great point on power versus the right rider. A Cat SnoPro 500 in the woods is untouchable in the right rider's hands. As you're well aware, my riding partner (Mac) is a retired Cat Factory racer. He rode my SP500 sled one day, and I rode his 800. There was no way I was ever going to catch him through the woods. Horsepower on a twistie trail is over rated.....

With that said.....I have had so many Procross sleds, that I REALLY wanted to try something different. Thus, the reason why I am in the situation that I am in with Polaris.

Smooth is always faster. The guy thats untouchable on a 500 will be just as fast on the 800.

Im not sayin Im that guy, cuz Im not. Im just sayin, smooth is fast.

The worst part about this is, he did serve in the reserves.  He knows this isn't accepted in the armed forces...he just doesn't care.  It's literally in the same category as stolen valor.

I have a old school friend like that. Enlisted to the military and couldn't handle it. Im not sure how he got out, but he got out as quickly as he could, might have been dishonorable.

Years later, gets a leg cut off in an accident. Now he's all about the Military again. He won't blatantly lie about it, but he will let you think he lost the leg while in the Military.

It is the bikman dyno what more needs to be said ? Send it out east to dynotec to get some real numbers till then all just bullshit manipulation and bmp has that shit mastered

    Its all relative, right?

Does it really matter if the number is accurate? No. What "matters" is how much different are these numbers to Doo turbo 2 stroke numbers.

What did BMP say the doo turbo was?

Of course BMP will have a tune next week gaining 45hp while running pump gas.....

Dont laugh, you know thats what they will claim.

I am basically looking at the one that is basically a re badge Durango. Does it tow ok?? Most i would tow is 4500 pounds at the most maybe once a year. It’s the L model. I am assuming the L means. Long

I have only towed with it 2 or 3 times. And it was a 4 seat rzr on an open steel trailer. So maybe 3000ish lbs? It was fine. Mine has the tow package with the load level shocks or whatever they are called, so no squat. Engine wise they will all have more than enough power.

My brother had a R/T hemi durango and often towed his boat to the lake. 21 foot Sea Ray tall heavy looking thing. He said it was good.
