I've never claimed differently.  The stupidity on the right however thinking their side is doing a good job is absurd.  Both sides suck massive dick when it comes to dealing with immigrants once they are here.  Until that is fixed what happens at the border is almost irrelevant.  Obviously working on both sides is important, but the most critical is what happens after as that will be the biggest deterrent to those coming illegally in the first place.  Right now potential illegals laugh at what could happen and that has to be fixed.  Trump showed he sucked at that, Biden shows he sucks period.  Neither are the right choice to deal with the situation.

yup... it's a political tool utilized by either side.  they have no intention of fixing it or doing 'something'.  hence, Trump and the R's killing the recent bipartisan bill that wasn't 'perfect'.  imo, pass the f'ng bill, then enhance it afterwards.  a non starter retains the status quo which as pointed out is unacceptable to 'main street'.

'we' suck at solving problems here

Again, the majority of Americans are for it and Trump will run with this. The immigration issue will be a huge player on who wins election.

you again failed to answer my questions or acknowledge immigration is a political weapon both parties utilize.

It's so easy Biden has sent back more of them and a higher percentage of them than Trump did.

the influx coming in according to CBP has been higher, so Joey owns that one imo

How things are at the border and impossible to hire aka it’s cheaper for companies to exploit illegals than do it legitimately. It’s pretty simple in my mind deport and stop illegal immigration it fixes multiple issues cost to the us tax payer, crime, and will make greedy businesses pay a decent wage instead of using cheap illegals to boost their profits.

    corporate America is complicit

as are contractors, landscapers, small farmers, etc

I was describing legitimate employment.  Farms that pick vegetables with hand labor cannot have someone come in and deport their whole work force.  I also wouldn't support one that did it illegally.  These are legal H-2A workers we were discussing.  The US has made that very hard which of course is going to have others start to look for how to do whatever they need either way.  Americans have become lazy and entitled sadly.

imagine the price increases of pork, beef and poultry if mass deportation occured.

one issue (again) is that most Americans (main street) is completely oblivious regarding where/how/who provides the goods and services they consume.

how many kids fresh out of high school would take a job in a slaughterhouse in June for prevailing wages... or even $100 an hour?

    That's such a bullshit excuse

    it's not an excuse, it's a fact

I'm not in favor of illegal immigration in the least.

D's and R's have been killing comprehensive immigration reform for decades... because it can be used as a political weapon.  D's did it to Bush2. It's the R's turn, this time.

So how's this mass deportation going to work?  Things in a political campaign sound easy... mass deportation would not be.  :pc:

  5. Pecker says he was giving Trump a heads up on negative stories for about 17 years before the election

Pecker confirmed during cross-examination that he has been giving Trump a heads up on negative stories for about 17 years before the election.

"Fair to say, that predated that meeting at Trump Tower in August 2015 by a long time," Bove said.

    "Yes," Pecker replied.

"That's almost 17 years prior to the meeting you described in August 2015," Bove said. "Seventeen years of providing President Trump with a heads up about potentially negative publicity."

    "Yes," Pecker said.
