All the Procross chassis'ed sleds I've had have been pretty good. :dunno:

I mean if blown belts, shit clutches, poor QC, 600cc class 800 performance, jackshaft issues, air box issues, track alignment problems, etc are your thing then yah they’re great.

Good looking sleds, arguably the best looking machines on snow, but they have the reputation of a fusion at this point.

  2. Old and new for me. Best of both worlds.

I seriously think my 91 Indy 500 may be the cleanest unrestored one out there. Definitely that I have seen, at least. All original except the wilwood master cylinder I just put on, new  studs, windshield, and SS brake line/pads. It’s pretty damn mint. Not more than a scratch and the original seat looks showroom. Pretty rare for a wedge.

Im seeing an 18 leftover in upstate ny for $11,200 . Thinking bout making the drive up there.

Shorty or switchback? Either way you won’t be disappointed. I found a screaming deal and got mine with a 3 year bumper to bumper for $9500 otd. Had 800 miles on it, it was a sled mag review sled. Probably why it runs like a raped ape, they broke the fucker in right. :bc:

What yr XCR? I used to ride em older ones. Looking for the new one. Ya like it I assume?

2017, first year of the xcr comeback in the rush Axys chassis. It’s an amazing sled. It does everything well and fits me perfectly (6’3” 205). I can’t say enough good things about the Axys chassis and that 800 motor.

    Still slow

I haven’t come across a procross or doo that can beat my xcr 800 :news:

matter of of fact I’d challenge any bone stock sled to try and beat my xcr out of the hole, it ain’t gunna happen.

Let’s not get carried away here. He’s not the second coming of Blair Morgan or something. Just because he breaks shit all the time doesn’t mean he’s a gifted rider. Just means he was lucky enough not to hit a culvert while blind drunk. Hell he couldn’t even keep up with the Lummox on a 25 year old wedge. :news:

really? I personally was there last yr when a bulk head busted open on a 17 snocheck .  was not even a fast hit .axis is strong but cast alloy can only be so strong .

and when you bust it you are fully fucked .

so no not a fact a opinion biased on nothing

What, did it hit a tree?

the cat can still take a bigger hit than any of them and ride away .and the mill is still the most durable when putting real power to it .

I can go any place on a mountain cat that I can on a pro . the 17 up mountain cat is a solid performer any one saying it is not has not been on one

If @f7ben can ride an Axys and not total it, Id say that’s the toughest chassis in the business. We all know doos can fold up like tin cans at any given moment.

the skid is deff a cool deal no question .

has the be the biggest change in the mountain segment in a long ass time .

it is a extremely specialized machine not built for any one but the guy who can ride in deep pow technical terain every time he goes out .

yes I think just the out of the box way ahead of the curve thinking makes it sled of the yr .

what else was changed this yr . 50cc in a poo and a clutch vent in a doo. no question cat stepped  up and it deserves it .

I don't buy any 1st yr shit but really wanted one even though I could only utilise it 15 days a yr .

my bud bought 1 so I will at least get some seat time on one .

That skid could be the best mountain suspension in the business, but it’s still a fucking arctic cat with an underwhelming 800 motor, shit chassis, and poor build quality/QC

Yup, and the Poolaris engineers travelled with the sled, and were on hand while the dyno sessions were going on. Any chance the broke in ECU was a hot one ?

Wonder if the new motor vibrates as bad as the old 800 ? That mfrrrr gave me carpel tunnel issues, and I only rode it for about 20 minutes. LOL

Couldn,t wait to get back on my smooth, heavy 4 stroke.

I disagree. The 800 HO motor only vibrates at idle, I can’t think of a single time in 2000 miles that I noticed engine vibration while riding on my 2017 800. I also came off of riding a 600 etec which was dead smooth.

sorry.....couldn't not post this one

Its not even an Axys bro. Gods gift to sleds if you’ve ever ridden one. You’re probably used to busted s modules.
