Bicyclists are part of the entitled crowd, until they have to do something to maintain said trail. They want everyone else to pay for it. In Minneapolis, its the same people who want to defund police, cut bail, and close the prison systems, that take lanes of vehicle traffic, and put up cones to keep cars off them. Then, when it snows, they complain the plows aren't clearing the bike trails..... because the plows can't get behind their little barriers. SO, they spend more money on specialized equipment, just for the bike trails.
As the OP said, "Good stuff". I call BULLSHIT.

It happens, and it will happen again. My parents have a picture of us kids in shorts, barefoot on grass, on January 24th, 1981 at 54 degrees - this year is not quite that bad yet, but is definitely off to a slow start.....

Best quote from the article: Though there has been some coverage of lockdown harms, the media have not paid the same attention to it as they have to COVID deaths. If there is a COVID-death tracker, there should be side-by-side with it a lockdown-death tracker.

What the hell are the likes of CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC etc etc going to do in just over two weeks? Who the hell are they going to blame for all the shit that's happening? Who are you mouth breathing keyboard jockies going to point fingers at? Is McConnell going to be the new target, because he has an R next to his name?
Or is everything going to be rosey now that a D has his old ass in the big house?

This is how I roll:
Double masked, each mask has TWO LAYERS, and an insert.
I also take a cotton ball, and stuff cotton in each nostril, to prevent migration of virus particles into my nasal passages.
SIX layers total, with nasal passages blocked.
I can barely talk to people when using these, and it's not too easy breathing. For the few times times I have to, ask me if a care!!!
Well, that’s one way to help keep your immune system stagnant....

I've see people wearing goggles, I crack up watching them. I especially laugh when I've seen folks in 1 store wearing their mask, take it off outside with all the whatever they're afraid of now on their Mask, then run into the same person(s) going into another store, take their used now filthy Mask out of their pocket and put it on again all the while touching it and their face. It's ever funnier when I've seen people remove their mask and put it in their mouth while putting whatever they bought in the store into their vehicles then put the Mask in their pocket till they need it next time.
If they take it off - here in the Twin Cities LOTS of people driving by themselves in their car with the mask on. It really is quite comical....

Dude - that chart I provided was from a Cuomo press conference May 7th!! That was from their own statistics! Notice how he doesn’t provide that data any longer? Yeah, because it doesn’t fit the stay at home narrative.
Go ahead, stay home. I’m not waiting for life to pass me by, I’m going out and improving my own immune system. My 79 yo mom? Yeah, she’s playing it safe at home, good for her.
Science - right??

When you are 6' 5", knee pads are a necessity. I ordered some after the first 20 mile ride on my Switchback.
Not to change the subject, but are those the mirror mount locations on that Matryx?

On the bold, this was your first mistake and says everything about where you get your information.

Spanish flu killed 650,000 Americans during the primitive medical times. Covid is already halfway there.
And what was the US population in 1918?? Not even a third of what it is today.

Not sure about MN, but in Wi, the municipality applies for them, but I believe the state is who issues the liquor license.
If MN is defunding the police, who is going to issue the citations? LOL
Department of Human Services - The place was PACKED last night and where the cops would normally be patrolling, I didn't see a single one.

January 10th it sounds like.
St. Patricks is opening on Friday for indoor dining. I bet the place has a line out the door! We have people coming for Christmas so I'll lay low until then.
There are a number of places that are just going to go for it, and open up. I'll bet the state will be happy to fine the shit out of them, revoke liquor and food licenses, and smile about being assholes to people just trying to survive. And there are many who WANT them to do it, which I really don't get. But this is where we are.
If they would have even a remote sense of a plan to help these people they are telling, "you can't work or run your business" that would be one thing, but they don't.
The places that are going to try to make a run of it, are on their last leg. They have two choices: Defy the order and try to survive, or file bankruptcy.

So they will allow outdoor seating in MN cold for how long before they lift that, expecting businesses to pour how much more into their ability to keep people warm outside?
Fucking morons running this state.

What is wrong with people.... I just don't get it. These are the ones that have no idea what it takes to put trails in, and ruin it for the rest of us.

After looking through all of these posts, and seeing that your primary clutch clearly didn't fully engage to wipe off that line you put on it, perhaps the outer sheave is sticking on the shaft. I've seen that before. Take the face off the clutch (6 10mm bolts) which will let the spring be removed, and then you should be able to slide the outer sheave back and forth freely. IF that is not happening by hand, the bushing, or 'bearing' as it may be called is sticking.
Just be careful when you remove and replace the outer cover so as not to scuff up the bushing/bearing on the cover itself.

On the signing up, leaving without getting tested, with a positive result, I heard this no less than a dozen times with my moms older friends. Most of them never went back even if they got sick, as long as they could handle it.
And anyone who thinks this virus was not used politically to go after the current administration is completely blind.
