I’ll let him know, he keeps telling me “I have a feeling this ride is gonna be the one it lets loose now” 😂.  Also if cat didn’t have the 2020 RR I’d say that indy is the best looking rider forward chassis sled ever.

My 2019 had 3900 miles on when I traded it.  Regular customer to my dealer purchased it and its still going.  Still has warranty on it so he's not concerned.

We made our rounds to our respective brands dealers Saturday for a trip we’re going on Wednesday and the service manager at the polaris dealer told my buddy that he hasn’t seen an 850 go over 4200 miles. His assault has 3700 going into the weekend so we’re hoping he breaks that record or we’re gonna have a damper on our weekend...

This one has 4600 miles and no issues and my 2021 has over 2500 no issue

  3. Went to our place up Nth to check things out since we haven't been up there since December ride if the trails looked good.  Was plenty surprised how good the trails looked on Friday so rode Wisconsin and into Michigan.  By time we got back you could see trails were getting soft and starting to burn off in Wisconsin.  Rode Saturday from Wisconsin to Iron River Michigan, Sidnaw, Ishpeming, Republic, Amasa and back.  Still good snow in Michigan but towns and trail crossing were getting burn off.  At this point I wouldn't drive out of our place but trailer up to Michigan.  They're call for 2-5 inches of snow but then temps of 40 all week.  502 miles for Friday and Saturday's ride 2800 miles so far for the year

I'm just going over the reports and queue files every so often.  If it doesn't get reported, it's unlikely I'll even see it.

That figures I was always reporting you for your bully mod tactics.  Didn't know you were reviewing the reports and just deleting them.  Maybe I should have gone right to the top and had Creepy Joe open up an "Investigation" 😂

  5. Rode my wife's sled (2020 XC 137) all last weekend because of the taller windshield and below zero temp.  It's my old sled so I set the suspension up close to what I had it at.  Ride wise they handle similar but the Matryx does handle the rougher trails better. I could have turned the suspension up on the XC but didn't want to deal with it in the cold.  I did put hi/lo adjustments on the shocks of the Matryx and the XC also has hi/lo shocks on.  The new gauge on the Matryx makes the PIDD look old and the ease of reading the new gauge at speed is nice.  Paging through the different screens with the hand controls was easy.  The handle bar warmers on the Matryx is a big hit for me.  Even with the taller windshield on the XC I had to put the gauntlets on where I've ridden the Matryx in 5 below and didn't need them.  I have trouble keeping my hand warm.  What I did like more on the XC is my knees were not hitting the cowling as bad as they do on the Matryx.

    how in the hell...?????

    someone riding outside the markers?

funny, as much snow as Southern Wisco has I'm still seeing shitloads of rigs going north/south everyday on 51/39

we have early season riding conditions just north of the beltline of the state.

He missed a culvert that was well marked.  We haven't been to our place up Nth since December.  May as well ride around home and wait until it melts then start going up Nth. We'll have all our trails groomed by Thursday and I don't work Fridays in the winter so time to ride.

I liked the day he told me that I needed to ask Kody Kamm whose helix he was using when I was around snocross sometime - then someone else chimed in who I was and he edited his post.

Another good claim of his is when people called Polaris directly about clutching Polaris would just tell them to call Rick.

not me, I'd rather share a butter burger with Butterstorm - and the drive would be cheaper.

all you need to know is Iron Dog Doug...

    Dog Doug...

    Doug...

All I got to say is if your not riding your missing some great trails across the state.  I'm not saying Rickie doesn't know what he's talking about or has a bad product.  He should just tone it back a little on his claims.

  9. I just read the "Our clutch kit" posts and I think Rickie bumped it up a notch on how good he is.  My only question is will their 650 beat their 800?  Still amazed that just one clutch kit is good for trail riding, snow drags, radar runs, ice drags, snowcross, hill climbs, the soo, grass drags and of course iron dog

Both are tool bags.  But of the two...I'd rather have a beer with Ricky.

Shut up, Doug!  That's why Ricky has a "#1" and "#2" double cut helix.  That's all you need for sure and the cut numbers are a closely guarded industry secret!!!!!!!

You could give Rickie a private lesson on hood removal and he could share one of the secret helix angles.
