Vaccine causes the variants, Natural immunity is the best way for younger heathy people.

Look at what's happening in Singapore.  81% fully vaccinated and their cases are spiking and severe illness had doubled.  They had cases down to nothing before they started vaccinating.

  3. My wife is a PNP at the largest children's hospital in the state.  No kids in the ICU but there are a lot of kids in the hospital.  Here's the kicker, she said right now everyone one of them is very obese. Maybe we should mandate diet and exercise instead of covid shots

I’m with @Ez ryder Pandemic driving was absolutely the best!!  NOBODY on the roads.... frequently rolled at 100mph for 10-12 miles at a time without seeing another car on the road in central Sconnie.

Not only were the roads empty, cops weren't pulling people over because they could get the rona!

The hight of the pandemic were hands down the best driving days of my life . I truly miss only risk takers on the road . Rolling 85+ and getting passed by trains of cars and having to put down the phone and step up the game .

My Ford saves me from the trippel digit license suspending tix but the dodge dose not have a limited top speed so I find my self  past 100 at least 1 time a mo and have to reel her back .

Late night on the way north I regularly have the escort set as sensitive as it gets and roll 90+ for about 40 min straight

Pandemic driving is when I found out my xdrive BMW is limited to 135... 😞  man I loved my drive to work those months

They likely never had it in 2020 as the tests were incredibly inaccurate then.

There is no "test" for COVID other than genetic sequencing.   Local testing sites do not do that.

Both positive tests and had all the symptoms.  Much worse than when I had it.  Fevers, headaches, coughs that lasted months and lost if smell and taste.

This time they said the headaches and throat pain was worse, but no coughing and didn't loose smell or taste

  7. My brother and sister inlaw just got covid again, most likely delta, but the test didn't say.  They had it March 2020 and again 2 weeks ago.  They were pretty sick both times.  The first time they were down for almost 2 weeks, this time only 3 days.

  8. How do they turn out if you do them in a smoker then reverse sear? I feel like that would give it more flavor than just the oven first, right?  I know it wouldn't get much smoke in that sort of period, but still should be noticeable I would think.

  9. I have 3 family members in the medical field.  My wife is an NP. The numbers are what they are simply because they don't test for it. If someone comes in with flu symptoms, they test for covid and that's it. No real conspiracy or anything, you just don't find what you don't look for.

Doo speedos have been way off since the 08 XP

The problem is its intentional. The odometers are right, so they know the right speed and chose to raise it. The thing is, they can't fix it now.  You'll have too many dumb people bitching that the new sleds are 10 mph slower.

My last beemer went 80,000. N54 with almost 500 wheel hp. Total parts was one water pump, 6 coils, two sets of plugs, and a coolant change. Tires, fuel, and oil are standard fare. A little more than a Toyota....but it’s the price to pay for a 10 second car that handles fabulous with a bargain entry level price tag.

I'm at 58k on my 340i M-sport. Been tuned for about a year now at around 390 at the wheels.  Only oil changes and plugs at 50k. Love this car

My 328i had 190k when I sold it.  Valve cover gasket ($20) 3 coil packs ($15 each) and the water pump at 126k miles ($400). No complaints about maintenance costs on that car.  They are not hard to work on and parts are not much more than any other car if you buy online.

I think they get a bad rap because most people that own them don't work on them and if you take them to BMW you'll pay out the ass. They get like $180 for an oil change in my car and I can do it at home in 10 minutes for under $50. Water pump on my 328 averages $1600 at a shop.  It took me under 2 hours and that was not knowing what I was doing.

you ride a sled,  i've only met 2 non white snowmobilers and 1 of them the restaurant we were in tried to kill him when a chain fell off the wall onto him

Good point, only once up in Copper Harbor did I ever see a group of black snowmobilers. Your stereotyping is dead on

  13. I watched a couple at a Mexican restaurant who were keeping their masks on while drinking their drinks through a straw. Seriously tucked the straw up under the mask. Their food came and then asked for to-go containers, put all the food in and left. I guess they felt proud they ventured out into a restaurant, but found it too dangerous to eat the food there. Why even bother having them put it on normal plates and sit at a table???
