  1. I used to be the other way, but why? It works both ways now, dems wanted it this way. When dane county magically produces 40,000 more votes than any previous election, something should be done, but I have not seen one Dem politician do it, until possibly now with Cortez. What is good for the goose is good for the gander. Fuck trying to play nice. You know, all I ever saw was slinger constantly saying "it's politics 101" So there, I guess we can agree with that.
  2. GM

Never once did I think the taxpayer should have bailed them out.
  3. I am sorry, but if you expect one side to continuously take the "high road" while the other party continues to take the "low road" it ain't gonna happen. There were John Doe lawsuits all while Walker was governor....you didn't think some backlash was going to happen? Do you remember a bunch of politicians leave for Illinois? Probably not, right?
  4. Ok, great. But you failed to understand that the exemption was not the problem that democrats wanted fixed. They didn't want act10 at all,. so for any democrat to say the exemption was the problem is disingenuous at best.
  5. Take a look at the demographics of DC vs the rest of the country. It doesn't represent the populace.
  6. That's because I understood the situation, why, and the simple fact that it was being addressed at all. No one else wanted to deal with it. If the exemption is the problem, what's the solution? And who will implement it?
  7. My take on it? You said the exemption was the problem.
  8. Well, I guess the Democrat coming into office should be able to include police and fire then, right? If exempting them was truly the issue we should see that taken care of. Do you think that will happen?
  9. Why is that the problem? Shouldn't everyone be asking why no one else wanted to address it at all? So he exempted them, but he only exempted ones that were for public safety and tried to reign in the others. And he is being vilified because he exempted them? That's ass backwards if you ask me.
  10. Unfortunately, they should have done this when walker was in charge, but apparently they don't understand that the opinion will always be this when you pass bills during lame duck sessions.
  11. BINGO. This is what should be pushed the most. It would make it much harder for the DC establishment to have so much influence.
  12. This is why term limits may not do what we would all like. The politicians get the boot, but the staff stays and keeps the same ideas moving.
  13. OMG, those are good ones.
  14. You just read the headline like the rest and do as you are told. Why are they protesting the outgoing governor over a bill that was brought by the legislature?
  15. The democrats in wisconsin have been in a constant state of protest since Walker got elected, that's the bottom line, and it really has nothing to do with the lame duck session. BTW, Magically, Schools will have an influx of money and they will be able to cover the referendums local districts have been asking for without raising taxes locally. It will all come from the state coffers again. and the local politicians will not have to answer for it. Just the way established politicians want it. No local accountability.
  16. Wow, protesting an outgoing R governor as he lights a Christmas tree. The NEW democrat party. https://www.channel3000.com/news/politics/protesters-boo-loudly-as-gov-walker-takes-podium-to-light-capitol-christmas-tree/911218690
  17. Please, list out the $$$ by person. Lets see if you are just talking out your ass again.
  18. Well, let's get rid of all absentee ballots for the current election. Lets just negate those votes. Is that a good solution?
  19. How many guilty liars have pleaded the 5th in the last 5 years. Do you know?
  20. LOL. I have already stated that I didn't agree with giving car manufactures bailouts.
  21. Using your projection, I guess you want tax breaks for the wealthy? Both Model S and X owners had an average age of 53 years old. Model X owners showed a significant bump in household annual income versus Model S owners, ticking in at an average of $503,000 and $267,000 respectively.
  22. As I said, they received billions in subsidies.
  23. They are called subsidies. I am sure you know how to look up that information.
  24. While I don't agree with giving GM subsidies or bailouts, I also don't agree with giving Telsa the billions it has gotten from the taxpayer either.
