This shouldn't be as big of a deal as most people know what email address that they used to register. Username and email logins have both been an option for a while now. I'm sure that there will be a workaround of some sort before we even upgrade here. From what I have been reading the software is in Alfa stages now with some invited guests currently testing it out.

You can develop a workaround to keep things as they are. Most hate change after doing it this way for years

Invision is removing the username option in v5 for security reasons. There is already talk of possible work arounds. Time will tell. It's better to try to get ahead of it instead of springing it on everyone at the last minute.

To check your current email address listed click on: Account then account settings and you will see your current email address and the option to change it.
