I haven't tried brisket yet, but will try it this summer The local butcher has a sale for $1.99/lb this week for local pork shoulder. I was shocked to see it at $.49/ lb at the supermarket I've got St Louis Style and Baby backs down at this point

Good to hear Ron I will say that FS caused rob a lot of grief. He always tried to keep everybody happy. As we have seen, that simply can't be done. But, on a good note Rob is much happier now that he has turned over all of the sled forums. He said that he is sleeping much better now. Joel and I don't really give a fuck about keeping everyone happy

Your post seemed to be directed at all of us. I have said all along that the internet is big enough to support both websites. TBP was around for years before they moved over to FS. A lot of their members posted on both websites. For whatever reason some members that had issues with rob are still taking it personally even though he doesn't have anything to do with this website anymore.

Do you guys have any idea how long I'll need to smoke an 8lb pork shoulder at 250° on my Kettle? The only other time I did one it was a 4lb boneless one.

Railbed in Ossipee, NH after a storm dumped 2-3 feet of fresh snow in the area. The guy in the pic and I had spent the night before in the groomer so people would be able to ride. Instead of going to bed we got on our sleds and went for a ride.
