Five days after he scolded Trump for having “no interest in putting in the work,” a new survey found little daylight between Obama or Trump for who has been the “better president.” The question from Rasmussen Reports in its latest survey was: “Who do you consider a better president, Donald Trump or Barack Obama?” The results: 49% Obama 47% Trump If that’s a surprise, especially considering the media applause of Obama’s speech, then the results of another Rasmussen question in the same poll will be a shock. About 37% of likely voters said Obama was the “worst” president when asked, "Was Barack Obama one of the best presidents ever, one of the worst presidents ever, or somewhere in between?" Only 33% answered “best,” and 29% said Obama was “somewhere in between.” As in every poll, partisans were deeply divided.
