Officers and Bow fire and rescue teams were sent to Woodhill Hooksett Road around 1:15 p.m. for a report of an assault and home invasion. A man who was at home at the time reported that three armed men burglarized the building, according to scanner chatter. The homeowner attempted to fight off the burglars and was injured during the incident. The men then fled the scene. The men were described as three black men, armed with an assault-style rifle, a shotgun, and a handgun. The getaway vehicle was described as a small white sedan with Massachusetts plates and a Bernie Sanders for president sticker on the rear bumper of the vehicle. Police scoured the area, speaking with neighbors and a postal delivery driver, attempting to find the vehicle.
