Platinum Contributing Member Highmark Posted January 24, 2019 Platinum Contributing Member Share Posted January 24, 2019 (edited) Got 10"+ on the ground. Calling for a bit of snow tomorrow night. Sunday/Monday Alberta clipper is looking possibly to be one of the largest ever on record. Our best local weather guy is saying by the end of next week we could see all time record cold. High's -15. Fucking hate that weather. Really hard on animals especially "pets" who are left outside. By later Sunday, a powerful clipper system is indicated to drop into the NW Midwest and develop widespread system snows. It is still a bit too far out in the forecast to have strong confidence in the exact snowfall totals. However, as things stand right now, the clipper looks to be about as strong as clippers get and snowfall totals of 5-10″ are seen for much of MN, the northeast 1/2 of IA, the southern 2/3rd of WI, most of lower MI and the northern 1/3rd of IL, IN and OH.
