  2. Why are these billions in pipeline projects stalled? President Donald Trump’s slowness to nominate members to an energy commission helped cause a bureaucratic logjam that held up $13 billion in pipeline and gas-export projects. Billions of dollars’ worth of shovel-ready infrastructure projects have been held up by a bureaucratic morass that President Donald Trump helped to create. Trump’s slowness to fill vacancies at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is one reason for a growing backlog of natural gas pipelines and a gas export terminal awaiting approval from the agency, which has been unable to conduct major business since February. The waiting list has grown to at least $13 billion worth of projects expected to generate more than 23,000 construction jobs, according to a POLITICO analysis — largely in states Trump won in November. 3. Dont see much of this good stuff on CNN!!! A week after his inauguration, President Trump issued a series of executive orders that returned the nation to one governed by law with regard to illegal migration. Among other things, his EOs called for Homeland Security and immigration officials simply to enforce existing immigration laws. They brought an end to the Obama-era practice of “catch and release” by which illegals were caught and then released within the country. Also law enforcement was instructed to enforce existing laws authorizing immediate deportation of illegals who committed crimes. “From February through May (of this year), the number of undocumented immigrants stopped or caught along the southwest border of the United States fell 60 percent from the same period last year, according to U.S. Customs and Border Protection — evidence that far fewer migrants are heading north, officials on both sides of the border say.” There are no unconstitutional “czars” in the executive branch. Obama had over 30 such extreme ideologues as Van Jones, Cass Sunstein and John Holdren in his administration. There are none now. Along those same lines, there are 110 fewer employees on the White House staff than there were under Obama. And first lady Melania Trump has but five staffers, while Michelle Obama sported a queenly 24 staffers. Projected savings total more than $22 million. Last month the president signed into law the VA Accountability Act, which holds VA employees accountable and protects whistleblowers within the Veterans Administration. Just since the signing, 548 VA employees have been terminated, another 200 suspended and 33 demoted, according to VA reports. This clearly signals a change in commitment to protect and serve the nation’s veterans. http://www.westernjournalism.com/the-first-six-months-what-has-trump-accomplished/
