I always wanted to go for crappies with an ultralight setup. They've been catching some nice ones here

Pretty good eating there.

I just drove to town to pick up ice-cream. I'm not sure if I drove faster the ice cream would melt slower or would it melt the same

no ....the 144 track will make less revolutions per RPM of the motor .....the speed will be the same
A truck running at 2150 rpm with a 10x22.5 tire and then switched over to a 12x22.5 runs 12mp/h faster at the same rpm. It strange how that happens

if you took a sled and checked the speed with a 121 tack at a given rpm then put a 144 track on the same sled at the same rpm would the speed still be the same if the lug height is the same on both tracks?
The top end speed should be greater.

so you're saying like a taller tire on a car?
A taller tire definitely makes a difference since it travels longer per revolution. A tracks length has the same revolution. The lug height should only come into play on hard pack or ice. In soft snow there should be no difference
-
It was on the former FS. I'm not an engineer and my opinion means nothing but I would have to say it might be a possibility only on ice or hard pack. In soft snow it shouldn't make a difference as it doesn't change the track length. Ok! You got that lol

We spent four days in Halifax in 1957 when we got off the boat while they checked us over and such.

It's getting close to being a closed chapter in our lives.we are in the final stages of selling our 5th wheel. We've decided that living where we are we have the peace/tranquility that we had there and the only thing missing will be the waterfront and coffee on the deck. We still have friends up there so if we decide to visit we have that option and if we want to sled there we can rent a cabin. It just lost its luster for us sadly enough. I'm pretty sure the boat will bring us good times and looking forward to that
-
Not too shabby out here today compared to the recent heat/humidity we have had.i just finished oiling the furniture (teak) that's on the rear deck and now enjoying a vodka/ grapefruit juice on the front porch.one mission at a time lol

We have a stationary 5th that sits on a lakefront site. It's great for about a 5 day stint at best even with all we do there. We"re in the process of selling it as it has lost its lustre since moving to the country

Oh, I've decided to smoke a couple pork butts and take them up to a lake party with some friends of ours. Well, my wife decided that. Too many liberals at this certain event and I'm not in the mood. So, as long as politics don't break out...it should be ok. But, that may depend on my mood...maybe I'll bring it up and get the dance floor moving! I'd better make sure I have the car keys first...could be a long walk home!
There will be a newly married gay couple there that I like though....both pretty cool and funny dudes. I still can't figure out which one is the "woman" though....should I be trying to figure that out?
Not unless you want her lol

Personally I haven't met any of the assholes lol and all the FS"ers I've met/ride and hang around with are pretty cool down to earth people. It's the internet so let'r rip lol
-
We spent the last two days up at our camp ( more work than enjoyment) and now just rearranging the garage a bit at home. Think it's time to say F..k it and go hop in the boat and relax the mind and body

Waste of time with afro turf unless your going to offer them free chicken and watermelon.

A GPS doesn't do me any good as I'm not tech savvy.we have them( built in) on our atvs and have never tried to figure them out. As long as it's showing NSE or W were good to go lol
5th wheel
in Ontario
Posted
It's a done deal and the 5th wheel/ site have gone on to the new owners. We decided since we moved up north and not using it time to move on. We will still visit friends and sled in there upon occasion.
